[frameworks-ktexteditor] [Bug 447740] Crash in QAccessible::queryAccessibleInterface
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447740 --- Comment #6 from Waqar Ahmed --- Did some digging, but didn't get anywhere. Maybe the accessibleInterface pointer inside updateAccessibility() is invalid which leads to a crash. When we reload the doc, the views, if any are valid before and after regardless of whether they became visible or not. A quick workaround fix would be to allow the user to disable/enable accessibility. This would avoid the crash. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This didn't fix the issue for me, I think you might be seeing something else. Maybe you can provide a screenshot of what you see? I think if KDE is supposed to changing the gtk config when the global theme changes (maybe Nate can confirm?), if it is not doing that, it's probably a separate bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

(no longer allowed because of authentication) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login to Google Drive in Dolphin 2. See errors/emails from Google w/link. 3. Go to link and tell Google 'it was me.' OBSERVED RESULT 'This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.' [kde] [Bug 454028] New: application launcher (cascading) broken
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454028 Bug ID: 454028 Summary: application launcher (cascading) broken Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Slackware Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: dchme...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Classic application launcher is described (in panel widget adder) as cascading, but no longer is. If a submenu is longer than screen, it'd 'cascade' to continue the list to a new box to side of the first list box. Now it doesn't cascade but forces you to scroll down, which forces mouse wheel usage and often takes much longer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use application launcher. 2. Open submenu that goes off screen. 3. Doesn't cascade. OBSERVED RESULT Application launcher doesn't cascade. EXPECTED RESULT Cascading application launcher or option to return to old style. [krita] [Bug 454027] New: Krita crashes trying to export via Comic manager.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454027 Bug ID: 454027 Summary: Krita crashes trying to export via Comic manager. Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Compiled Sources OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Dockers Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: spin...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 148983 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=148983=edit 2 crashes happened in this log but nothing. SUMMARY This crash happens all 5.0.6, 5.0.7, 5.1.0(git 3ae600d) This crash doesn't create any crash log or backtrace. It looks like Krita safely close itself. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Load this project into the comic manager. This is an NSFW project. so. careful. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-WraN830O7fEwMTKi9qMHlxnZeQ18MM7/view?usp=sharing I found out about this crash after the sketch, during the writing of a dialog. 2. That's why this project contains a Korean OTF font in the vector layer. It's 'Noto Sans KR' I'm pretty sure the Korean language is the cause. Which may have connected to this bug I reported. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453936 Change to TTF also crashes too but when I change to the paint layer, it doesn't. 3. Open and close any page 1 or 2 times. Hit the export Comic button. OBSERVED RESULT Krita will close itself exporting page 1 or page 6. It's different every time. But almost 90% is on page 6. Really low probability you may get a Python error about 'NaN to integer'. I lost that error message. If not crash, close Krita and reopen. If export successfully 3 times in a row, then I don't know. EXPECTED RESULT I hope it won't crash. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453884 Alvin Wong changed: What|Removed |Added CC||al...@alvinhc.com --- Comment #9 from Alvin Wong --- I may have an idea why this is happening... Krita vendors its own fork of kxmlgui (it's been here for 6 years!), compiled into libkritawidgetutils, which has departed from upstream kxmlgui by quite a bit. On the other hand, it looks like KDEPlatformFileDialog in the KDE platform integration uses KToolBar from upstream kxmlgui. Somehow, instead of loading the system kxmlgui shared library, it appears to be using the KToolBar functions in Krita's fork of kxmlgui. It would crash if the two are not compatible in layout and contains inline functions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 445058] kwin interactive console does not work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445058 --- Comment #8 from Chris Holland --- The systemd logs printed in journalctl is just capturing the kwin_x11 output. It's possible that your distro doesn't capture the terminal output, or kwin restarted somehow. The journalctl workaround works fine for me OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Plasma 5.24.5. Another workaround is to open Konsole, and run the following to restart kwin and log it's output to the Konsole window. kstart5 -- kwin_x11 --replace `kwin_x11 --replace` is the actual command, but `kstart5` will keep kwin running after you close Konsole. The `--` tells kstart5 to treat everything after it as a single argument (the command to run). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Krita (Or choose open with from dolphin menu) 2. Open an image (tested with both, PNG and JPG, also the way the image is opened does not seem to matter, same behavior if opening the image from krita menu, dragging and dropping or using the open with option in dolphin menu) 3. Select save as/export (Happens with both actions) 4. Select location and file extension (Tested to export as PNG and JPEG) 5. Proceed to select options for exportation and click Ok (Did not choose anything in particular here, just clicked Ok) 6. Krita closes and a crash is detected by the crash handler (almost every time, sometimes it crashes and it is not detected by the handler, but very rarely) OBSERVED RESULT Even though Krita crashes and closes immediately, the file is created on the selected location and seems Ok (I do not perceive any problem with the image itself, so it seems it actually exported it and failed afterwards) EXPECTED RESULT The image is exported and krita continues functioning without crashing/closing. [KDE Itinerary] [Bug 454017] New: Integration of routes (like GPX)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454017 Bug ID: 454017 Summary: Integration of routes (like GPX) Product: KDE Itinerary Version: unspecified Platform: Android OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: vkra...@kde.org Reporter: ci3...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I'm regularly doing bike tours. For that, I usually drive to the start by train (so book a ticket which can be added to Itinerary), ride my bike several days to the end location and travel back with a train (which also can be added to Itinerary). Also, the hotel visits of the intermediate locations can be added to Itinerary. But, the main (bike) route cannot be added to Itinerary. Also, if you travel by car, the routes cannot be added. So, what to you think of supporting GPX tracks (which can be annotated with time stamps for the correct display in Itinerary) and maybe also some links for arbitrary routes (the date, however, has to specified in Itinerary then)? [kmymoney] [Bug 454009] Investments Equities tab no longer shows sold stocks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454009 --- Comment #3 from Jack --- Minor point - you can quickly toggle the display of closed accounts with Ctl-Shift-A, so you do not need to open the settings dialog. It can also be changed under the View menu - Show all accounts. There were some changes (since 5.0.1 although I don't recall the exact version) to make things more consistent, and to consolidate two different settings which essentially controlled the same thing. I don't believe that they changed the actual behavior, but I may well be wrong. As far as I know, there is no way to get closed accounts shown in one display but not another. [Spectacle] [Bug 454013] New: Delighted with enhancements in latest version!
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454013 Bug ID: 454013 Summary: Delighted with enhancements in latest version! Product: Spectacle Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: m...@baloneygeek.com Reporter: he...@yourmessagedelivered.com CC: k...@david-redondo.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** I just upgraded to Debian v9, Stretch to Debian v11, Bullseye. This is a quick note to express how delighted I am with the new features available with spectacle! I find particularly useful the fact that a subsequent screenshot in the same session now remembers the boundaries of the 'Rectangular Region' which was the subject of the previous screenshot. This makes it so much easier to capture pages from a slide deck during a presentation! Also useful is the new UI showing me the name and a button to 'Open Containing Floder' for the most recently saved screenshot. So far, the only feature I had grown accustomed to in the legacy version which seems to be missing in the new version is the ability to navigate with the keyboard and to select an image name to use as template I can conveniently edit and use to save a new screenshot. This requires that I have to interact with the mouse to complete this task. But that is a very small price to pay for not having to use the mouse to draw the region boundaries for every screenshot. Excellent work, folks! Thank you for these enhancements! -- Hugh Esco Roswell Georgia STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. [kmymoney] [Bug 454009] Investments Equities tab no longer shows sold stocks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454009 Jack changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #1 from Jack --- Just to be compulsive about the description - the showing or not of equities has nothing to do with whether they have been sold, but whether the account for that equity in that investment account is open or closed. That you expect them to be shown with the name crossed out shows that you have (at least in the past) set KMM to show closed accounts. In this case, I would check whether you have inadvertently turned off the "show closed accounts" setting. If you display the Accounts View, do any other closed accounts show up crossed out? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
