And not only that. I restarted digikam, I restarted my computer and I recreated the complete database. Always the same. Only "CANON" is found and "Canon" is not. And I checked the database table "ImageMetadata", hope it is the right one. Besides the DebugView, I can offer you to try to rewrite the Canon data entries to match the same notation via "update table" statement. If the laptop goes to sleep and re-awakes one of the monitors suddenly has a lower resolution and refresh rate than before. This decrease starts at 1440p and goes from 1080p to 1050p eventually. I tried to use **kscreen-doctor** to investigate the issue but when trying to output the "broken" monitor's details **kscreen-doctor** always end with the core being dumped. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Colon is an invalid character in filenames on Android. Yet, it still should be possible to send a file, or at the very least, the error message should be more descriptive. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a file with colon in filename on desktop. 2. Try to send this files to Android device. OBSERVED RESULT Error "Failed receiving file from " on Android. No error on desktop. EXPECTED RESULT There are multiple solutions. I would prefer that the file is sent to Android and the colon is replaced with underscore (that's what my phone does, when I try to rename the file and put a colon in filename). Another option would be to display a dialogue prompting to input a different filename. At least fixing the error message, so it points out that the filename is invalid, and why, would be an improvement. If the database tags are not in sync with the metadata tags, it can actually result in tag loss. In addition, tags are only created in the digiKam TagsList and dc.subject. This occurred to me when trying to use the Steam Client on a 4K screen with no scaling. The app has no way of zooming, and it is extremely tiny! The simplest solution would be to just apply the magnifying effect, but just on the window contents. Though admittedly, the quality of the look of the Steam Client is pretty bad since it's already been drawn ridiculously tiny. Would it perhaps be possible to make the Steam Client draw to what it believes is a smaller resolution?
