While "Peek at Desktop" is available, that un-minimizes and shows all the open apps when I open a single app. I want to open a single app after minimizing all apps using screen edges. This is the default behavior in Microsoft Windows as well as in Cinnamon desktop. Note that "Minimize all Windows" is available as an alternative behavior in the "peek at desktop" panel button, but I want to enable this as a screen edge behavior. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable screen edges and turn on "Peek at Desktop" 2. After activating this screen edge (which has minimized the windows), open any app OBSERVED RESULT All other apps are also opened. [Skanpage] [Bug 482231] Add ability to scan both sides of a page in Skanpage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482231 --- Comment #2 from Archisman Panigrahi --- It was a departmental scanner, which I needed to use at some event, but I don't have access to it right now. However, most likely it would work with ADF Duplex. Can we rename "ADF Duplex" to either "Scan both sides" or "Scan both sides (ADF Duplex)"? Since users may be using a particular scanner for the first time (like me), and they may not have time to figure out what ADF Duplex means, it would be very helpful if a non technical word like "Scan both sides" is used. I am a PhD student, and I had to scan hundreds of exam papers last week. There was no time to figure out what ADF Duplex means. I finally had to use a friend's Windows computer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

After rotating the screen from horizontal (normal) → vertical → horizontal, all my desktop widgets move to the left part of the screen, since the intermediate vertical orientation had less width. I want the widgets to remember their initial positions when the screen was horizontal, after the orientation changes back to horizontal. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. [kalzium] [Bug 434219] New: Kalzium should mention units of half lives
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434219 Bug ID: 434219 Summary: Kalzium should mention units of half lives Product: kalzium Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kalz...@kde.org Reporter: apanda...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When one opens the list of "isotopes", Kalzium should show the units of half life. User may be confused whether it is in seconds (SI units) or in years (popular unit of half life). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click on any element, e.g. Zinc 2. Click on Isotopes 3. Look at half lives. Unit is not mentioned. OBSERVED RESULT Kalzium shows some numbers as half lives of the isotopes, but does not mention whether it is in seconds or years. EXPECTED RESULT Kalzium should show the units of half lives. After comparing the numbers with results from the internet, I realized that it is in seconds. But Kalzium should mention that, so that users don't have to browse internet to double check. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433148 Archisman Panigrahi changed: What|Removed |Added CC||apanda...@gmail.com --- Comment #13 from Archisman Panigrahi --- Similar issue happens for xournalpp 1.1.0+dev version (https://github.com/xournalpp/xournalpp/) After upgrading to Plasma 5.21 (in KDE Neon User Edition), the application fails to launch from Latte Dock, showing the error "For security reasons, launching executables is not allowed in this context". Also, when I open the .desktop file, the xournalpp does open. However, the icon in Latte is different from what is shown in the .desktop file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
