Always the same problem on my hp probook 640 G1 running Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS with Xfce 4.14 and kdenlive-22.08.0-x86_x64.AppImage. However, I'm currently switching to a dell precision 3570 running quite fresh install of same Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS with Xfce 4.14 and don't have the problem running kdenlive-22.08.0-x86_x64.AppImage !!! [kdenlive] [Bug 421094] Motion Tracker Effect Missing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421094 --- Comment #8 from Cyril Giraud --- In kdenlive-21.08.0a-x86_64.appimage, I did not found "Automask" effect... because my system is localized for France, and french name of effect is changing all the time... [kdenlive] [Bug 424944] Multiple Effects produce unexpected clipping
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424944 --- Comment #6 from Cyril Giraud --- New test with kdenlive-21.08.0a-x86_64.appimage and new "Transform" effect that combines Pan, Zoom and Rotation effects. My feedback: - it solves common problems with those 3 effects... if you use only 1 effect (combining 2 "Transform" effect, one for moving, one other for rotating, initial problem is still present... but is there a good reason to do that?) - sometimes, I've got a hudge number of keyframes (stabilizing a video with automask effect, thanks to https://ferrolho.github.io/blog/2020-08-09/stabilizing-a-video-subject-in-kdenlive)... and wanted to modify constant zoom ratio --> because keyframe sets all parameters effect, I have to modifiy zoom factor for each keyframe... Cheap suggestion here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442094 Best suggestion: allow temporary extra video resolution between effects to avoid clipping and video quality issues. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 442094] New: [ENHANCEMENT] Allow to disable some transform effects from keyframes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442094 Bug ID: 442094 Summary: [ENHANCEMENT] Allow to disable some transform effects from keyframes Product: kdenlive Version: 21.08.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: vpi...@kde.org Reporter: cgir...@free.fr Target Milestone: --- ENHANCEMENT SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Import a shaky video to project and timeline 2. add "Transform" Effect, 200% zoom and add keyframes to move video and deshake it (or use and old kdenlive version with automask effect thanks to https://ferrolho.github.io/blog/2020-08-09/stabilizing-a-video-subject-in-kdenlive) 3. change your mind for 180% zoom: 2 options 1/ modify each keyframe to move zoom from 200% to 180% (quite long if you have hudge number of keyframes) 2/ add a new Transform effect to zoom out around 90% (and lose video quality and a part of your video clip, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424944) OBSERVED RESULT 1/ Huge work for kdenlive user. 2/ or Missing part of video. EXPECTED RESULT Transform effect combines 4 sub-effects: Move, Zoom, Rotate and opacity. Allow kdenlive user to enable/disable keyframes action for each sub-effect. When keyframes applies to sub-effect: as actually. When keyframes does not apply to sub-effect: sub-effect parameters can be modified, but applies to the whole effect, as if no keyframe present. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Ubuntu Studio 20.04.3 LTS kdenlive-21.08.0a-x86_64.appimage ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Of course, it would be better to be able to set different keyframes for each sub-effect... but it solves with multiple Transform effects on same clip... oh, no, because of effect pipelining in project video setting that clips off some video parts, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424944) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 379872] New: Rendering waiting to start in Job Queue
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379872 Bug ID: 379872 Summary: Rendering waiting to start in Job Queue Product: kdenlive Version: 16.12.3 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: cgir...@free.fr Target Milestone: --- Context: UbuntuStudio 17.04 amd64 Kdenlive 16.12.3 melt 6.4.1 I use Kdenlive to encode .ts files from freebox to .mp4 files expurging ads. I use to have several files to encode during the night. Observed: . Add 2 or more files to be rendered, . Files are listed in Job Queue, . First file has a red bullet, and Remaing time is displayed . Next files are Waiting... . Lock screen (Ctrl-Alt-Del) . Wait a long time, enough to render all the files . Move your mouse, enter password to unlock session . You're lucky: First file is just announced to be rendered . Second file starting rendering (Same without locking screen, all the files are rendered normally) Expected: . Rendering Queue is smoothly managed from one file to next one, what ever the screen is locked or not. Question: . Are XFCE notifications locking end of rendering, and next render to begin ? [kdenlive] [Bug 379033] Timeline Audio Waveform Delayed by About 100ms Compared with Image of Speaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379033 --- Comment #3 from Cyril Giraud <cgir...@free.fr> --- Please, consider downloading .MTS files to confirm the problem: . http://dl.free.fr/rAEflg4DZ (1-3.MTS.tar: 3 first .MTS files, required) . http://dl.free.fr/rXFTx8KPO3 (4-7.MTS.tar: 4 last .MTS files, optional) (Hudge files, but the only way to confirm the problem due to 2Go spliting for FAT SD card). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 379033] Timeline Audio Waveform Delayed by About 100ms Compared with Image of Speaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379033 Cyril Giraud <cgir...@free.fr> changed: What|Removed |Added CC||cgir...@free.fr --- Comment #2 from Cyril Giraud <cgir...@free.fr> --- I've got problem that seems to be close from yours. My camera is a Sony Handycam HDR-CX740 making .MTS files on SD card. Filming a whole show makes about five 2 Go files that should be placed one after the other to get the full show (about 17 min each file). All seems to be ok for the 1st file. But moving from 1st to 2nd file, last frames of the 1st file are identical (and sound continues). Starting 2nd file, video continues, without any missing frame. Exporting .wav makes a file with shorter length! Well, I'm unable to make a smoth .mp4 from those .MTS files with Kdenlive! [kdenlive] [Bug 370907] Kdenlive freeze through rdesktop / xrdp
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370907 --- Comment #2 from Cyril Giraud <cgir...@free.fr> --- Booting with USB Stick (no-mode-set): . Ubuntu Studio 16.10 x64 . Kdenlive 16.04.3 . xrdp 0.9.0 . rdesktop 1.8.3 The problem is more accurate: . rdesktop -g 1272x992 localhost --> rdesktop windows opens, but never draws Ubuntu menu. So I guess a problem around xrdp or rdesktop. I tried the same with old Ubuntu Studio 15.10 x64 USB stick (no-mode-set), and got different symptoms (than my Ubuntu Studio 15.10 x64 production PC): . rdesktop -g 1272x992 localhost # ok . launch kdenlive --> GUI never appears (kdenlive GUI works fine in local session) (My HW gots an AMD GPU, and oroduction PC includes proprietary AMD drivers). Sorry for this unclear status... Does somebody could report a working status on those operations? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
