[skrooge] [Bug 441666] New: Operations on a Skrooge file with many movements take some time to complete
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441666 Bug ID: 441666 Summary: Operations on a Skrooge file with many movements take some time to complete Product: skrooge Version: 2.25.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: guillaume.deb...@gmail.com Reporter: x...@email.it CC: steph...@mankowski.fr Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY First of all thank you for your work, I've been using Skrooge for the last 10+ years and I'm deeply grateful for it. Because I've been using it for that long I have many accounts (~40) and movements (~5000) saved in my Skrooge file, which I all point after I check and confirm them. The problem is that every time I add a new movement it takes a little bit to recalculate the balance that it's shown in the status bar, and when I point the movement everything freezes for a little bit until it completes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create many movements & accounts 2. Check the speed of adding new movements / updating them / pointing OBSERVED RESULT It appears to slow down with many movements EXPECTED RESULT It should be snappier :) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch 5.13.12 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85 Qt Version: 5.15.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmail2] [Bug 331539] All messages disappear after deleting one
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331539 xdmx changed: What|Removed |Added CC||x...@email.it --- Comment #8 from xdmx --- I confirm this as well, under Arch and kmail 5.16.0. I have a gmail inbox, and when I delete a message in it all other messages disappear. I usually have just a bunch of messages as I archive or delete them as soon as possible, so the ones that disappear are usually others that I need to read, and as mentioned by others I have to switch folder to see them again. It's very frustrating :( -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmail2] [Bug 430678] Allow to only enable specific external images
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430678 --- Comment #4 from xdmx --- (In reply to Laurent Montel from comment #2) > Ok I found it > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remote-content-in-messages Yes, this is exactly the feature I was referring to. One thing to note is that when you click on those entries to allow them, that's saved for future (/past/other) emails as well. So if for example you enable images from assets.kde.org in 1 email, then all emails will allow that url as well (with the "edit remote content preferences" option to remove it if needed/clicked by mistake) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmail2] [Bug 430678] New: Allow to only enable specific external images
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430678 Bug ID: 430678 Summary: Allow to only enable specific external images Product: kmail2 Version: 5.16.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: x...@email.it Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I've been using Thunderbird for the last couple of years and now I'm giving KMail another chance (I left because it was broken wit gmail and with many memory leaks). One thing that I really find useful in Thunderbird is the ability of only allowing specific external sources when there are multiple in an email. So for example I can enable "assets.domain.com", but not "track.domain.com" or "foo.evilcompany.com". I find this super important for privacy reasons but still allowing to accessing emails and their images. Would it be possible to add it to KMail as well? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 423594] New: Memory leak and high cpu usage when many notifications are received all together
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423594 Bug ID: 423594 Summary: Memory leak and high cpu usage when many notifications are received all together Product: plasmashell Version: 5.19.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Notifications Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: x...@email.it CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I have a standard KDE installation under Arch, I've noticed that when I receive a lot of notifications, for example from KDE connect when someone starts sending me dozens of images, the cpu of my laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon) goes up to 100% and everything starts lagging. Then plasmadesktop's memory increases and sometimes it uses 900mb and I have to kill and restart it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect KDE connect (I use Android, but it shouldn't matter) 2. Ask someone to send you a lot of messages all together (usually photos) 3. See plasmadesktop memory/cpu increase OBSERVED RESULT It's painful :) EXPECTED RESULT It shouldn't lag so much when many notifications are received, may it should delay the notification to group them, or notify only one of them. And most important it should have memory leaks SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch 5.19.2 KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71 Qt Version: 5.15 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krunner] [Bug 397164] New: Krunner memory leak when running math
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397164 Bug ID: 397164 Summary: Krunner memory leak when running math Product: krunner Version: 5.13.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: calculator Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: x...@email.it Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 114298 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=114298&action=edit Video of the leak I've noticed that when I run some math krunner has a memory leak that increases a lot the ram and cpu used, sometimes I have to kill it because it reaches 500-700mb after a while and the whole system becomes slower. I thought that it was because of "unmatched" parenthesis, but the problem seems to happen also when they match. I have all plugins enabled a part from the spell checker one. Check the video for an example (krunner was killed and just started, with nothing else running on the system) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382117 Bug ID: 382117 Summary: Exclude folders ignores wildcard patterns Product: frameworks-baloo Version: 5.35.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: pinak.ah...@gmail.com Reporter: x...@email.it Target Milestone: --- I'd like to exclude all folders based on a pattern. I've tried to add to the config the followings – one at a time – without getting any result: exclude folders[$e]=node_packages exclude folders[$e]=*node_packages* exclude folders[$e]=$HOME/Projects/*/node_packages/* exclude filters=node_packages exclude filters=*node_packages* Having many projects that use npm I have literally millions of files that are getting indexed but that I don't care, and every time I upgrade them (by using yarn upgrade, which deletes all folders and recreate them) I have baloo indexing them all again. It'd be very useful to be able to exclude all node_packages folders from the indexing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 357614] Add the ability to export/render as gif

I don't know if it's possible to integrate it in a render profile, since it has two steps Attached the difference to compare (left: kdenlive, right: ffmpeg) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 357616] Add a way to select the region of the screen to record
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357616 --- Comment #3 from xdmx --- Hi Farid, I've been using Vokoscreen so far and it's very good, I don't feel a need of having it integrated into Kdenlive since I can just import the video and edit it when I need. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357616 Bug ID: 357616 Summary: Add a way to select the region of the screen to record Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: x...@email.it At the moment in the settings it's possible to set to record a region of the screen, but it asks for the offset and size. I have no idea where is exactly located the region I want to record and I don't event want to calculate it. It'd be much better to have a way like spectacle/ksnapshot where you can click a button and select the region on the screen, without having to enter any manual number Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
