When Elisa plays music doesn't allow the monitor to be turned off.
Elisa is a music player so I don't understand why it inhibits the energy saving
settings I have configured.
I understand that it does not allow the equipment to be suspended or turned off
but the monitor being turned off does not prevent the music from continuing to
play.

For this I have defined as default application "kioclient5 exec

But when I press on an email address in a KDE application, it shows the error:

The `X-KDE-RequiredNumberOfUrls` option allows me to set an exact number of
occurrences but not a minimum and a maximum or just a minimum.
For example, I want to create an option to move n files to a new sub-folder,
but I only want this option to appear if the minimum number of files selected
is 2.
Another example, I want to create an option to compress several image files and
create a comic book. I want at least 4 images selected for this option to
appear.
These 2 examples I have given are real cases that I have recently encountered
when switching to KDE.

System log output at the time of suspension/reactivation

I have set the display to turn off after 5 minutes, but when the time comes the
display turns off and on immediately.
In the system log it shows many lines from kscreen (I attach the log output).
It is a new installation on a new computer. So I have no previous experience.
However, in my "old" computer (it runs the same environment with the same
programs but different hardware) it does work.

If I unset "KScreen 2" from background services, DPMS works well.

2020-10-07 Thread Juan Simón

I think this is related to this another bug of amdgpu:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/662

After reading the above error report, I reactivated the KScreen service again
and deactivated "Auto Select Input" option on the monitor. For the moment, it
works.

SUMMARY
I have this script:

#!/bin/env zsh
if nombre=$(kdialog --title 'Crear cómic cbz' --inputbox '¿Nombre del cómic?'
"$(basename ${1:r})"); then
   if [ -z $nombre ]; then
  nombre=$(basename ${1:r})

   if resultado=$(zip -jqX "$carpeta/$nombre.cbz" $@); then
  kdialog --title "Crear ComicBook" --passivepopup "Hecho. '$nombre'
creado" 5
  kioclient5 move "$@" trash:/
   else
  kdialog --title "Crear ComicBook" --error "$resultado"
   fi
fi

And I have created a service menu in Dolphin:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Service
Actions=CrearComicBook
ServiceTypes=KonqPopupMenu/Plugin
MimeType=image/*;

[Desktop Action CrearComicBook]
Exec=crear-cbz "%F"
Name=Crear ComicBook
Icon=comic

And I have this folder with images:

├── Rise of the Black Flame
│   ├── Rise of the Black Flame-000.jpg
│   ├── Rise of the Black Flame-001.jpg

I've tested with %F and %U. Both fails.

The problem are:
1) Without ", the service only sends the first image.
2) With ", sends all files like one parameter.

When I execute "Kate" in console, it shows several messages:

sonnet.core: Sonnet: Unable to load plugin

/usr/lib/qt/plugins/kf5/sonnet/sonnet_voikko.so: (libvoikko.so.1: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory)"

"libvoikko" and "hspell" are the packages that contain (in Arch Linux) these
libraries but they are optional.
"hspell" is a Hebrew spell-checker.
"libvoikko" is a spelling and grammar checker, hyphenator and collection of
related linguistic data for Finnish language.

Nothing in my system indicates that I use these languages, why does "sonnet"
alert me to the lack of these libraries if they are optional and I don't need
to use them?

The new Spectacle utility "Annotate" is very useful for me but is useless with
the shortcuts since they use dbus and do not open the GUI.
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430480)

I also can't create custom shortcuts because the keyboard capture doesn't work.
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430388)

So I have copied the system desktop file to my home directory to modify the
application shortcuts:

$ cat .local/share/applications/org.kde.spectacle.desktop

Comment=Screenshot capture utility

Keywords=snapshot;capture;print;screenshot;snipping;snip;
Keywords[es]=captura;capturar;imprimir;captura de pantalla;
Exec=/usr/bin/spectacle
Icon=spectacle
Type=Application
Terminal=false
StartupNotify=false
Actions=ActiveWindowScreenShot;RectangularRegionScreenShot;
X-KDE-Shortcuts=Shift+Print

[Desktop Action ActiveWindowScreenShot]
Name=Capture Active Window

X-KDE-Shortcuts=Meta+Print

[Desktop Action RectangularRegionScreenShot]
Name=Capture Rectangular Region
Name[es]=Capturar una región rectangular
Exec=spectacle -rw

I have restarted the Plasma session but when I press the shortcuts it keeps
executing the call to qdbus instead of the commands I indicate in my home
directory file.

It would be necessary to be able to define the main currencies to convert when
using this functionality.

For example, I live in Denmark but I am Spanish, so sometimes I want to convert
from DKK to EUR or the other way around. But by default the currencies it shows
me (see attached screenshot) are GBP, USD, CAD and JPY, which I am not
interested in.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357337

Bug ID: 357337
   Summary: It says updating font but it does nothing.
   Product: kfontview
   Version: 5.5.1
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: deced...@gmail.com

I've tried to install a new OTF font with kfontinst like system font. It asks
for the root password but after it says that it is updating the font cache but
it does nothing, only shows the progress window forever.
It doesn't respond to press cancel button or close window.

Reproducible: Always
