Dear Kdenlivers, I joined the kdenlive mailing list, because I have a Problem with kdenlive after I upgraded my ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04. In ubuntu 16.04 I got a new version 15 of kdenlive. I used the "pan and zoom" option in Kdenlive on ubuntu 14.04. But now I have a problem by unsing the project monitor. The slider on the right side is gone. Why? I can not zoom in or out anymore. Could you please help me? Hi Schorse, If you are on Ubuntu, I recommand that you use our PPA to get the latest Kdenlive version: Version 16.04.1 is here: https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable and version 16.04.2 with latest git fixes is here: https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-testing regards, jb ___ kdenlive mailing list kdenlive@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdenlive

What am I doing wrong? The stock MJPEG profile works correctly. The timeline preview profile must be in the form: s=1920x1080 vcodec=mjpeg qscale=1 r=25 There should be no audio setting in the preview rendering profile, since audio is taken from the real source clips. The project itself uses the stock "HD 1080p 25 fps" profile. 2. The stock MJPEG profile results in a rather "blocky" display, kind of 2D Minecraft-y rendering. It's defined as "f=avi vcodec=mjpeg progressive=1". How can I trade in my disk space for better display that doesn't look like being rendered in Minecraft or using my childhood LEGO bricks? Adding qscale=1 to the default profile should improve the result, I just changed the default in git. Then use the slider where you can set the keyframes. If you zoom in or out, remember to return to the first two keyframes as they'll have wrong settings. Set them back to 100% if necessary. ___ kdenlive mailing list kdenlive@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdenlive

Dear Kdenlivers, two questions, somehow related: 1. With the most recent git master preview rendering now does something strangely funny: it renders every other second only. [kdenlive] Thank you JB! (Was: Beware of git master ... as I was told)
It's time to pick up this topic again and send a public big THANK YOU! to Jean-Baptiste. He has quickly fixed two ugly timeline corruption bugs concerning moving transitions and, in particular, the spacer tool. My own tests on recent projects showed no more corruptions. So life on git master is much more enjoyable again. Did I learn something? Nah. With best regards, Harald ___ kdenlive mailing list kdenlive@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdenlive
