[Bug 220957] New: email address autocompletion only works after clicking "select..."
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220957 Summary: email address autocompletion only works after clicking "select..." Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: m...@andreas-demmer.de Version:(using Devel) Installed from:Compiled sources I attached my eGroupWare addressbook via Akonadi's GroupDAV connector. This works fine (i.e. kaddressbook shows my contacts). KMail refuses to autocomplete an email address once I type it, it does not seem to look in the remote addressbook. But If I click "select..." which brings up the contact list (all remote contacts are shown here) and close the dialog without picking a contact, autocompletion works fine afterwards. Looks like a (not-) caching issue or something like that. Neither setting the language to German in the SystemSettings-Menu did work, nor the setting in Help > Choose Language to German. She has still a mixed German/English surface, especially to be seen in kmail. Might be a bug in SystemSettings, IMO. Strange: By adding a new user i.e. testuser, everything is working fine. [Bug 140543] crash on index (re)generation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140543 --- Comment #12 from Mircea Bardac 2010-01-03 01:10:11 --- Unfortunately my current setup does not allow me to retest this (and a change won't happen anytime soon). Also, it appears I no longer have the archive available online at the address in the original issue. It might be fixed if the solution provided by JC Cardot (#8) is already present in KDE 4.3. The e-mail sample provided by Sasa Kara (#3) matches the bug characteristics mentioned in #8. I believe it could be pretty safe to assume that, if the solution in #8 is already implemented, this bug is no longer present and the bug report can be closed as FIXED or WORKSFORME. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
