I've removed and re-added my calendar, and I've tried both MySQL and SQLite backends for Akonadi, and it's all working fine now. I guess I'll close this as WORKSFORME now and, if I manage to reproduce it, I'll re-open it. If I edit an istance too quickly (quicker then the updated version is retrieved from the server), akonadi or Korganizer will display a message where you can select the item that you want to keep (using 4.7.2). However, an ettempt to change repeating item end dates, exceptions or participants SOMETIMES produces this weired bug. I tried to reproduce it, but cannot. However it happened several times in the past. I will keep an eye on it and report steps taken once it occurs again. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: It happens fairly regularly, but my attempts to intentionaly reproduce it failed. Step by step would be: having a couple of tabs open in akgregator, then click the articles tab. Actual Results: Kubuntu restarted, and I'd have to login again and reopen all applications. Usually I'd have a couple of LibreOffice Calc spreadsheets open and a brower or too. Expected Results: Simply open the articles tab with unread feeds showing. I'm running Kubuntu 11.10. I'm a little disappointed in this latest release. Everything also seems very slow. Many times Firefox hangs, slows right down until I eventually restart it (get message Firefox is not responding), Google Chrome also seems to be very slow.
