[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1876143] Re: Ubuntu 20.04 gnome online accounts, webkit crashes when using nvidia-driver-390

2020-05-01 Thread Ihor Romanyshyn
Hi! I just wanted to say that I had this problem and also I was unable
to use an external monitor connected via HDMI even using nouveau. So I
switched to version 340 driver and that caused some apt errors about
nvidia-340-* and nvidia-driver-390-* (some dependency conflict with
nvidia-340 files when installing 390) and made my system completely
unbootable with some LVM mounting errors. But after restoring it back
using "LC_MESSAGES=C dpkg-divert --list '*nvidia-340*' | sed -nre
's/^diversion of (.*) to .*/\1/p' | xargs -rd'\n' -n1 -- sudo dpkg-
divert --remove" I realized my external monitor started to work with
version 390. Also, WebKit is not crashing anymore! I don't know how to
explain it.

Title:
Wi-Fi switch doesn't work on my HP g6 laptop

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Wi-Fi switch doesn't work on my HP g6 laptop.

I'm making this report, because some years ago Ubuntu had support of
Fn+F12 to switch Wi-Fi on my laptop with some lags. But now I can't do
it fast with keyboard, because this feature was cut.

2014-09-02 Thread Ihor Romanyshyn
Public bug reported:

Num lock LED doesn't light up while Num lock state is on. If you press
Num lock key, it will be put to off. And when you press it again, it

Num keys will continue to work same as Num LED is enabled. All above is
true for logon screen, for desktop and for terminals by ctrl+alt+F[1-6].

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1357076] Re: Wi-Fi switch and touchpad ON/OFF doesn't work on my HP g6 laptop

2014-08-20 Thread Ihor Romanyshyn

Wow, WiFi switching is fixed, but WiFi LED is always enabled (LED has two
states: white for enabled and orange for disabled, want orange LED to work
too, as was years before).

And touchpad on/off area is still unable to switch touchpad. Not
critical, but sometimes it would be fine.

Bug description:
Wi-Fi switch and touchpad ON/OFF doesn't work on my HP g6 laptop.

I'm making this report, because some years ago Ubuntu had support of
Fn+F12 to switch Wi-Fi on my laptop with some lags. But now I can't do
it fast with keyboard, because this feature was cut.

(secondary) My laptop has a tiny zone in left-top corner of touchpad
to switch that touchpad on and off. But doesn't worked ever.
