Is there any way to creat a list and sublists in Koha. Example:

Electronic Engineering(Academic program)
   Calculus I (Class)
 Book 1   (Bibiliography)
 Book 2   (Bibiliography)
 Etc. (Bibiliography)

"Mapa" (Cart) Text into Carrito/Bolsa, etc. using CSS.

[Koha] KOHA livecd 1.2 (Koha Dspace) wirth wubi install / The easy way

Only for general info.

I have recent (today) install Koha with Dspace using the Ubuntu ISO image of 
Live-CD versión at:
http://liblivecd.sourceforge.net/  and WUBI installer for Windows. The trick 
was the Wubi installer for Ubuntu 10.10

It's very easy if you wan't to try Koha and have only 1 PC with windows and 
don't want to do a disk repartition.

Final result:
Dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10
Koha 3.2.6/Dspace

TODO:
Install spanish language
Upgrade Ubuntu
Upgarde Koha

My yesterday install was KOHA 3.4 on my Kubuntu Netbook using the Koha's Ubuntu 
installation file and the Wiki instructions for that task. No problems.

In my experience, Koha needs the subfield "o" - Full call number. I migrate 
from CDS/ISIS DOS and the LC callnumber (050ab) was import in both fields, one 
for MARC21 and one for KOHA. When I add a record the LC callnumber was copied 
automaticaly to subfield "o" subfield in the Add ITEM secction. Try a search in 
my OPAC and export to MARC to study the format.

I setup ITEMS like:

Libro (Reference, General stacks, other colecctions, etc.)
VHS
Tesis
etc.

In the ITEM type LIBRO group Reference books, Monographs, and all printed 
colecctions.
In Authorized values define CCODE like AG (Acervo general), C (Consulta o 
referencia), etc.

And finally in the add ITEM info (Library, Colecction, Copy number, barcodes, 
etc.) I select "Not for loan" for books that not circulate. Works fine for me. 
The "Not available" tags refers to title with no ITEMS.

In the "Add item" section selec this and select "No for loan" defined previusly 
in "Authorized values" for reference or special collections.

I recomend that convert groups of 1,000 records using Marcedit and import into 
koha using the webtool "Stage MARC Records For Import" to get more control and 
identify errors. Verify the info about ITEMS (tag 952 and subfields).

"Copias disponibles para préstamo" mean "available to loan" have ITEMS
"Copias disponibles para referencia" mean "for reference" not for loan but 
still have ITEMS
"No hay copias disponibles mean" a MARC record without ITEMS

[Koha] Koha - Reservas

Hemos puesto el módulo de circulación de Koha en "producción" y se están
presentando algunas situaciones acerca de como maneja Koha el proceso de
reserva. Surgen algunas dudas las cuales quisiera me ayudaran a clarificar o me
orientaran acerca de como debiera ser el procedimiento. Actualmente esto es lo
que sucede en nuestra instalación:

1)Koha esta configurado en preferencias del sistema para que solo se puedan
"reservar" los libros que se encuentran actualmente en préstamo.

2)Cuando una reserva es solicitada por un usuario a través del catalogo e
ingresando con su cuenta esta aparece en la "cola" de reservas. Hasta aquí todo
parece estar bien; sin embrago faltan algunos datos del registro como por
ejemplo la clasificación, etc. (Ya lei los mensajes al respecto pero sigo sin
entender).

3)Si el usuario que posee el libro en préstamo actualmente se acerca al
mostrador a devolver el libro en la interface del modulo de circulación no
aparecen las casillas de verificación para "marcar" según el proceso; en este
caso devolución sino que en su defecto aparece una "liga" que dice "Reservado"
tanto en la columna de "Renovar" como en la de "Devolución" lo que no permite
ninguna acción.

4)Hemos notado que si ingresamos a la cola de reservas de el ítem y eliminamos
la reserva entonces si aparecen las casillas de verificación y se puede devolver
o renovar el libro.

En resumen, si se quiere prestar el libro a quien lo "reservo" primero debemos
borrar la cola de reservas del libro, devolverlo (con la cuenta del usuario que
lo tenia en préstamo) y prestarlo a quien lo reservo. O sea que es casi todo el
proceso manual.

Ojala alguien pueda explicarnos que podría estar pasando o si es algún "bug" o
en todo caso un procedimiento claro acerca de como manejar las reservas
(apartados).

[Koha] User registration process send an email with no data to upgrade/modify !!!

You just need to create a "new collection code" in Administration > Authorized 
values, then clic select "Authorized values" and CCODE... and in the add ITEM 
part of your record select from the pull-down menu the one (or another) you 
define.

"item type". We group the informaction resources by collection like:

Colección regional (History of Baja related books)
Colección UIA-ITESO (Books published by the members of Universidad

etc., etc.

tab show nothing. In the administrative part all the info show right.

Try run a full reindex. We solve similiar problem this way. When deleted a 
record they remain searchable by the opac and send a 404 error message when 
clic on it.

My Opac was migrated from CDS/ISIS Winisis with the help of a PFT and MarcEdit. 
MarcEdit also have a Winisis ISO to MARC converted tool you can test.

Par que deseas incluir los datos de la etiqueta 952 ?  Yo tuve el mismo 
problema al intentar integrar Koha y EBSCO Discovery. No funcionaron los 
parches al menos para nuestra instalación. La mejor solución fue a través del 
Z39.50 y solo así se reflejaba en tiempo real la información contenida en el 
campo 952, como por ejemplo el estado (status), etc.

I already made the changes according to what they tell me, but the page
