We tried your sandbox (Koha 17.06.00.003) with acqusition module and found that this particular functionality (change of price, currency and conversion rates while receiving the order) remains the VERY same as that of Koha 3.22 as given below in the example: While editing the order line number, the URL passes two parameters viz.1. ordernumber and 2.booksellerid as shown below: http://library.imsc.res.in:8001/cgi-bin/koha/acqui/neworderempty.pl?ordernumber=4=1 As you may notice, the parameters passed in the URL hold good for books acquisition. But for the serials, subscriptionid is another important parameter to be passed in the URL to identify the particular serial subscription. This is not provided even in the Version 17.06. We have to manually pass this subscriptionid parameter in the URL as below to acheive the functionality: http://library.imsc.res.in:8001/cgi-bin/koha/acqui/neworderempty.pl?ordernumber=4=1=4 So, what should happen is that when passing the parameters in the URL while editing the orderline during the receipt of the order: For every order number, system should check for subscriptionid value and should include the subscriptionid parameter in the URL only when subscriptionid value is present. In otherwords, if the subscriptionid value is present, then URL will have subscriptionid parameter with values (=4 for example). If subscriptionid value is not present for the order number, then this subscriptionid parameter should NOT be passed at all in the URL. We think this should fix this problem. We have tested manually. Kindly look at the codes and do the needful to effect the above functionality. Re: [Koha] Acquisitions change in Koha 16.11 and forward
I think it is a good idea. +1 Il 09/05/2017 22:44, Nick Clemens ha scritto: Hello All, With the current versions of Koha there have been some changes in acquisitions and how prices are calculated and there seems to be some confusion in terms and how things are currently being used. We wanted to clarify what is happening, propose a change and get feedback on what needs to happen. When placing an order there are several price fields: Vendor price (listprice in db) -This is used to populate the Replacement cost and budgeted cost on the order page. It is not used against the budget Replacement cost (rrp in db) -This is used to calculate the 'budgeted cost/ecost' in the budget - it also populates the replacement price in the item created by the aqc process once received Budgeted cost (ecost in db) -This is the replacement/rpp minus any discount on the order - this is the value that will be encumbered when the order is placed Actual cost (unitprice) -This is the eventual 'price' of the item and is the encumbered amount once the item has been received. With the changes that were made one can no longer adjust the 'Replacement/RRP' once an order is placed - this is because this value is adjusted for tax in the db (rrp_tax_excluded, rrp_tax_included) and used for calculating the ecost tax adjusted (ecost_tax_excluded, ecost_tax_included) Some libraries have been having issues as they use 'Replacement' cost mostly for populating items and are not used to it being unable to be edited and/or affecting budgets. We are proposing to rename the current 'Replacement cost' field to match the db value - 'Recommended retail price' (RRP) and add a new 'Replacement cost' field, editable at any point, that is only used for populating the item field. We think this will clear up how the other values are being used and restore functionality that changed. Please let us know if this works or what other suggestions you have here. It is in 'svc' subdirectory of the Koha home directory. - Change your working directory to the directory containing 'checkouts'. - Run this command: wget -O checkouts http://tinyurl.com/zg6ukte It retrieves a valid 'checkouts' program. [Koha] Help from people experienced in Arabic, Hebrew, and CJK languages
Hi to all, starting from a simple problem, "Text::Unaccent doesn't works on RH/Centos, how to replace it", it starts a good discussion about support of complex UTF-8 languges. The discussion needs help from people with experience in Arabic, Hebrew, and CJK languages The link: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14759 Please try to join the discussion also if you don't know perl, but if you know well one of those: - Arabic alphabet and language - Hebrew alphabet and language - CJK writing systems and languages Bye Zeno Tajoli -- Zeno Tajoli /Dipartimento Sviluppi Innovativi/ - Automazione Biblioteche Email: z.taj...@cineca.it Fax: 051/6132198 *CINECA* Consorzio Interuniversitario - Sede operativa di Segrate (MI) ___ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz https://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

Hi Il 12/11/2015 16:20, Jesse Lambertson ha scritto: I do, however, have one more question regarding this: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/How_to_add_new_zebra_index I do a correction on this wiki page. Now it si OK. It was posted by someone who was also in need of adding non-default index fields to the list. The wiki page is correct. But your case is much more complex. Also the wiki page about olb books it is OK, but you can use it only as basic how-to to undestand how config indexing work. Does anyone know anything about the steps as suggested there or do we really need to rework the whole thing because of the Arabic and the linkages to their respective fields? You don't to delete part of default indexing config, you need to add 880 indexing. But it is difficult, because you need to backport bug 14217, http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14217 If you migrate to 3.22 [it arrive at the end of november 2015] you still need to change default indexing to use 880 more deeply. I suggest you to open a bug on bugzilla. Add 10-20 marc record from your catalogue with 880 to do tests. If anyone still suspects my koha-conf.xml or zebra-biblios.cfg files, I would gladly send you the printout from those or snippets from them. if you swith to DOM indexing your standard config file is zebra-biblios-dom.cfg, not zebra-biblios.cfg For authority zebra-authorities-dom.cfg, not zebra-authorities.cfg An you need to update all commands that you use. Read the lines config .. /config in zebra config sections of koha-conf.xml and you can see where your config file must stay.
