KR> Build progress

2009-04-12 Thread Paul & Karen Smith
Been a bit quite on the builder front for a while, here is my latest
offering.

I have decided to run Augmentors along my belly to improve cooling
performance and to help smooth the line between the cowl and the belly.

Now the size of these augmentors is an educated guess but based on web
research and a few builders that have done it before.

Well they did call this "Experimental"

Yes we can calibrate for wide band.

Thank you

Pete,
Can this one be made in a wideband gauge... .2 to .8 is too narrow for
manual adjustment of the mixture.

  _

That is the only difference between them one black the othe white faced.
Yes we have them in the 2 1/4 square aircraft mount 2A5-56 and 2A5-56W
And yes we do have the sensors 712-OS3

Thank you

Pete

Other that a black or white face, what is the functional difference between
these?

2C5-56 and 2C5-56W

Will you make it in a standard 2 ΒΌ instrument and do you also sell the
sender?

I recall Ross having an 0-200 in his KR. What prop is he using and what are
some of his performance numbers?
-
Ross has a Rotax 912, He did have a Constant Speed prop last year, but had a
prop strike, and was out of the air for 6 months or so? now he has a
Sensenich ground adjustable, the numbers I will have the check for you.

KR> O2 gauge

2009-04-12 Thread Eric Evezard
Hi Netters,
Has anyone used the SKYHAWK fuel/air ratio gadget.? I bought mine at a garage
sale and is normally used for auto tuning. It is about the size of a car battery
with a very large dial and thin needle, giving clear readings.Of course I tune
on the ground only but one simply clips onto a 12 v source and inserts a probe
about a foot up the exhaust. The box is light and can actually be placed close
to where one is tweaking the carbs. It is an American make and I am very pleased
with results.
Regards,
Eric
