KR> Flywheel Drive VW?
Interesting. I have one, so it must have been offered for sale. Mounted on a VW engine. Ron St. Louis, MO On Sun, 11/22/15, Oscar Zuniga via KRnet wrote: Subject: KR> Flywheel Drive VW? I may be totally messed up but I thought it was a cast housing that bolted onto the flywheel end with a torsional vibration dampening arrangement and thrust bearing on it. Ron, Yes, I spoke with Steve a year or two ago. He said he stopped marketing these because they didn't sell well do to the weight and cost. I always thought this was the most trick drive, yet. If you ever decide to part with yours, I'd be interested. Mike Ladigo

For those of you who responded about the GP rear drive unit, the only way I would be interested in selling is the complete engine w/redrive installed. I'm not interested in parting it out. If anyone is interested in the complete package, contact me off list at: ronwright5 at yahoo.com. I can get photos for you but it will be around the middle of Dec before this can happen. New engine that was built up but never run. I did not do the assembly. It has been sitting for several years in my garage. Steve Wittman had flywheel drive VW drives for the V Witt aircraft. They just sold a complete V Witt needing restored with a flywheel drive engine with the long snout like his engines had for $200 at an auction. Also, they sold a Wayne Ison PDQ mostly built for $100no engine. My place is full of airplanes or I would have bought them all. Kevin Golden Harrisonville, MO Tinyauto at aol.com
