Paul, when you say you are doing the final prep to fiberglass the top of your
rt. wing... You do mean top and leading edge and bottom of the leading edge
back to the rear of the lower exposed main spar all in one go I presume?

Can I ask how you are laying up on the wing. 45 degrees, one layer of cloth all
the way around the leading edge to the back of the underside main spar? You are
not intending to just go to the middle of the main spar and then a separate
piece around the leading edge as the old book says I hope. I'm sure your are
not, but from what I read, alarm bells rang and I just thought I would ask and
check.

Cheers Colin Hales.

?My final prep consistent of fillings voids and checking the spars for high
spots.?I fiberglassed the top of the Rt wing today. ?The plans call for two
?BID layers from the fwd spar around the leading edge to three inches below the
L/E cordline and one layer from the fwd spar to the T/E. ?I didn't like the how
the edge of the ?two layers ended just below the L/E. So I extended the second
layer back to the back edge of the bottom side of the fwd spar. I'll do the
same when I do the bottom wing.?
