No, It is a nose-pusher without the leg. The way I have it strapped down by
the tail it has a pronounced nose down attitude.
Also the spinner in the photos is just a prototype and is just a press fit
over the prop flange so it does sag a little.
It will all be right in the end (I hope)

Is it photography distortion making your prop spinner appear to reflect
downthrust?

Hi Paul,

I like your cowl.  Is it photography distortion making your prop spinner appear
to reflect downthrust?

I really like the exhaust augmentors. It seems like that will effectively
extend the length of the exhaust. I have always heard that an engine
running at low RPM should have a short intake and a long exhaust, and we
always have just the opposite.

Augmentors and belly almost finished, moved on to one of the wing flaps.

See it all via the link below.

KR> Progress update

2008-10-12 Thread bdazzca...@aol.com
HI Netters,

Well, so far I have the boat done, tail section done, all
wing spars done and airfoil templates all cut out and firewall cut out. Having
the spars inspected at the end of the month and since it was 115 degrees in my
garage today I will be putting everything else on hold til September. By then I
should have enough money for my complete landing gear kit, cables and
controls, hinges, fiberglass, motor mount, and instrument panel ready to be
installed. Meanwhile, I am going to start building my header fuel tank, turtle
neck,
get dimensions for my wing tanks and have them built out of aluminum.
