im here, sorry for late response. thanks for your
answer. what engine properties (hp,cc,etc)do you
suggest, What dou you think a water-cooled engines? it
incresase too much the airplane weight??

Eduardo,

Most of the time I fly from an elevation of 444 feet  but I will throw out
some numbers and others can dispute or refine them.

For a KR in the 650 to 700 pound range you will want an engine
producing at least 75 to 80 h.p. for good take off performance.
You could use a turbo to normalize a smaller displacement engine
or start with a larger engine that will still produce that h.p. at the
21 or 22 inches of  M.P. you will have at 8000 or 9000 feet.  I'm
assuming that is you field elevation from an earlier post by another
builder.  Perhaps a Lycombing 0-235 or 0-290 or the Continental  i0-240
but these are all rather expensive.  The Rotax 914 ( I think it's turboed)
or the Jabaru 6 cylinder of 120 h.p. may be good options also.

There are engines out there.  It depends more on you financial resources
then engine availability.  Perhaps Jeff Scott could offer some advise
as he flies from high altitude.
