KR> Some flying , 5th bearing update
Guys, Just a little motivation first, Went to breakfast again this morning and this time my 13 year old son went along, Really nothing special as far as we as a group are concerned but the thrill that it gave me after we got home and him saying that it was an exciting morning is one of the wonderful feelings that I live for. 5th bearing update, As most of you know I have Dan's bearing on the front of my 3100 corvair, I now have somewhere between 50 and 60 hours on it total and about 25 since returning from corvair college at Ed Fishers, I have not had any more issus with it and it does not leak a bit, My oil pressure has only dropped abut 4psi with the addition of the AN-6 oil line to the bearing. It really seems to be working out to be a real winner as far as limiting the crank shaft bending as The difference in climb and hard banking turns is noticable in the cockpit as far as vibration. I'll say it again and again -"God, I love this plane" Joe Horton, Coopersburg, Pa. Looking for the perfect watch? KR> some flying
Guys, It has been pretty nice around here most of the week but this working to live thing has really gotten in the way of good clean wholesome fun (namely flying). On my way between jobs today took me right by the airport and I just couldn't help myself. I took 357 CJ out for a 45 min joy ride. I flew around at just over half throttle, good for about 125 mph and tooled around the neighborhood burning just around 4 gph. The visibility and the view was great today and I did something that I rarely do and that was to fly low even though there was no ceiling to stay under. Most of the flight was at 1500 or just a 1000' agl. A little bumpy at times but all and all just a nice time to relax and enjoy. Yea, I did go back to work just had to stay a little longer to finish what needed to be done. Spring is finally here and is it ever fun. Joe Horton Coopersburg, Pa.

That is so cool! I think some of wanna be's can just imagine ourselves up there too. Thanks for the vision Joe. By the way, I have to agree with the working thing, seems an awful shame that we have to trade good flying (or building) time for time working for someone else.
