[Bug 300206] [NEW] Secondary instance of quanta becomes unresponsive
Public bug reported: I'm running quanta 3.5.10 on ubuntu 8.10. My initial instance of quanta will generally run as I expect, and close when I kill it explicitly. However, if I want to run a second instance, this second instance will eventually become unresponsive. Attempting to close the window will fail, but a dialog will eventually come up, saying that the application is not responding, and giving me the option to force it to quit. I can go back to my original instance and use it as normal. ** Affects: kdewebdev (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: -- Secondary instance of quanta becomes unresponsive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdewebdev in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 300194] [NEW] import feeds from firefox into akregator
Public bug reported: There is a bug when I set akregator as default RSS reader and I want to import feeds directly from firefox. So say I have akregator installed and set it as default application for RSS feeds in firefox. Then I can click on the RSS symbol in the location bar and akregator will automatically import this feed. So far, so good. But there is one problem: the imported URL is always wrong and for a very simple reason, it looks something like http:newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/ i.e. it's always http:... which cannot be right since it's 4 /'s. My akregator version is 1.3.1 (KDE 4.1.2). ** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- import feeds from firefox into akregator https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300194 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 299823] [NEW] (Ubuntu 8.10) After installing gtk-qt, some widgets are badly drawn in GTK applications invoked from Gnome (but OK in KDE)
You have been subscribed to a public bug: (affects Ubuntu 8.10 with all the updates installed as of 19 November 2008) I have both Gnome and KDE4 on my computer. I have installed gtk-qt to make GTK applications look nice when invoked from KDE. Everything looks fine in KDE (except for Openoffice whose icons are broken, but I have reported that in another bug). When running Gnome, GTK applications' widgets are sometimes drawn incorrectly - for instance, the menus don't light up the way they used to. It seems as if gtk-qt is still being used, although it shouldn't (or at least it should display the widgets correctly). The main menu at the top of the window manager looks weird. Firefox looks fine, but Open Office's widgets disappear completely and only pressing a keyboard shortcut make them appear, only to disappear again as the mouse is moved over the widgets. ** Affects: gtk-qt-engine (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- (Ubuntu 8.10) After installing gtk-qt, some widgets are badly drawn in GTK applications invoked from Gnome (but OK in KDE) https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/299823 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk-qt-engine in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
