[Bug 498115] [NEW] space key performs automatic indentation

2009-12-18 Thread Wolfgang Jeltsch
Public bug reported:

When I press the space key while editing Haskell code, the current line
is indented automatically to what Kate thinks is the correct
indentation. Since I couldn’t find a way to disable this behavior, I
consider it a bug.

Please ask if you need further information.

[Bug 498115] Re: space key performs automatic indentation

2009-12-18 Thread Jonathan Thomas
Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the
KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate
your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at
https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this
speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more
effective debugging.

Thanks!

[Bug 362182] Re: Support for iPhone-like devices in Amarok 2

2009-12-18 Thread manuw2009
Hi,

Thanx to the HUGE efforts of the community, libgpod is now starting to handle
properly the iphone ipod touch 3G without jailbreaking, through fuse.
gnome's rhythmbox is seeing the ipod, thanx to gvfs 1.5 enhancements (gvfs afc
backend).
I believe solid should enable to do the same thing for kde amarok.
Has anyone a clue on how to do it (even through an amarok script) or who could
be of any help on the subject ?

[Bug 392005] Re: plasma-widget-network-manager + kwallet timeout

2009-12-18 Thread mark johnson
I think this problem is actually Kwallet, not plasma-widget-network-
manager. I don't use NetworkManager at all, but use Kwallet to store my
passwords for Kopete, Kmail etc. and experience the same timeout if I
don't unlock my wallet immediately after login, and can only use the
applications by logging out and in again.

[Bug 498356] [NEW] KPackageKit fail to update or download packages

2009-12-18 Thread Laurent Parenteau
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

KPackageKit was using proxy information from
.kde/share/config/kioslaverc to connect the mirrors. Since the proxy
information was no longer valid, it fails to do anything. If I was
doing an update, it stalled. If I was doing an upgrade, it fails to
download all the packages and reported download failed.

The proxy information was only .kde/share/config/kioslaverc.
Konqueror was reporting direct connection, as the System Settings -
Network Settings application.

I'm having the same problem with NM in Kubuntu Karmic since an update.
My solution was to restart the Knetworkmanager service it then segfault
crashed, after that it just worked right again and connected to my wpa2-psk
network without a problem. I have to do this everytime I reboot now.

Re: [Bug 498067] Re: Nvidia Graphics 3D Drivers crash Kmail

2009-12-18 Thread Mark Platt
Yes, I click on Hardware Drivers, then I click on Activate, which then
activates the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 180), which then
changes my monitor settings from 1280x1042 to 1600x900.

The monitor picture is better, and everything seems to work properly until I
click on KMail which very quickly freezes the screen and I can't get out of it
unless I manually shut down the computer. When I reboot I deactivate the newly
installed drivers to got back to my previous settings.

No bug reports appear in the process.

I could not find system specs using apport-collect 498067 because I did not
initially choose Change Anything privileges and it won't let me change my
choice. As far as I know my system is a:

HP Pavillion, p6122f, 64 bit, with a HP 2009m monitor, triple core AMD
processor

Hopefully this helps solve the problem. Keep up the good you guys are
great!

Regards, Mark
