@Luka Renko : I always take photo in best quality (in general quality 98~99) in camera preferences, and recompress it on the computer. In that way, my recompressed photo has a size between 500Kb and 2Mb (depending of the complexity of the photo) : the compression is quality-based. For the moment I have a script which mogrify (with imagemagick) all the photo not already mogrified (which I keep in a textfile).
