As far as I can see the feature to mark a person as a partner of another in your contacts is gone. If you just type in the name in the input field for partner it still happens. Encountered the same situation...getting a recurring crash in plasmashell under Kubuntu 19.04 (but only when I've left the computer unattended for hours; it's never occurred when I'm sitting at the terminal). [Bug 1514491] [NEW] kubuntu desktop inconsistency and integration issues: scrollbars. gtk3 button placement also not integrated
Public bug reported: Kubuntu desktop inconsistency and integration issues: scrollbar KDE Plasma does not use overlay scrollbars, but rather solid scrollbars. GTK3's default is to set all gtk3 main app windows and gtk3 dialog windows to use overlay scrollbars. Yet Gtk2 and Qt4 and Qt5 apps are otherwise fully integrated. Much like xubuntu, it would be sensible to disable gtk3 overlay scrollbars in the global settings. KDE Plasma is also unable to integrate gtk3 apps in terms of button placement. The Qt/KDE order is CONFIRM in center, with CANCEL on the right. GTK2 apps obey this and adapt for the environment, but gtk3 apps do not obey this. The latter issue is possibly a deeper issue with GTK3 and/or Q5 and/or kde plasma. The former issue is an environment setting (scriptable?). The various Ubuntu flavours are great for being the best showcases of mate/xfce/kde and gnome is getting there. While application choices and selective patching of ui in some apps are not universal, the environments themselves and integration is great. Just reporting this to see this get to that 100% mark in quality. Gtk3 csd apps (see menulibre as one that is not Unity-ified) also lack shadows and corners are off, but better than the boxed bizarreness of simple upstream distros like Arch. Public bug reported: Bug fixed in 0.12.2 is an old CVE that re-occurred: Previously, the initDbSession() function would only be run on the initial connect. Since the initDbSession() code in PostgreSQL is used to fix the CVE-2013-4422 SQL Injection bug, this means that Quassel was still vulnerable to that CVE if the PostgreSQL server is restarted or the connection is lost at any point while Quassel is running. This bug also causes the Qt5 psql timezone fix to stop working after a reconnect. [Bug 1430428] [NEW] kubuntu: fix live cd boot sequence
Public bug reported: Since switching to systemd the Kubuntu live CD no longer boots into a live desktop. It'll boot into ubiquity-dm and on clicking Try Kubuntu it'll kill ubiquity and just show a blank screen. It can't then switch vt at all. I did get it to boot into a desktop once by switching vt first before clicking Try Kubuntu. This is something to do with sddm, ubiquity-dm and systemd. ** Description changed: kdevplatform-libs still doesn't ship the Subversion plugin, the package doesn't contain a kdevsubversion.so. Initially this was caused by licensing issues (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35), but these have been resolved long time ago.
