[Bug 1451728] Re: kde-config-telepathy-accounts package install error
I uninstalled account-plugin-google, then account-plugin-facebook and finally account-plugin-twitter to get it working. I don't use Unity or Gnome day to day, but they are installed on my system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Kubuntu PPA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1451728 Title: kde-config-telepathy-accounts package install error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1451728/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 23252] Re: Ubuntu default boot splash is now kubuntu!
Just want to clarify a couple of points: - AFAICT current usplash is 0.1-22 in breezy, and 0.2-3 in dapper; which system are we talking about here? - The sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-$(uname -r) above refers to a grub splash image; are we talking about that (goes with the choose a kernel menu), or the usplash image that accompanies the startup script messages? -- Ubuntu default boot splash is now kubuntu! https://launchpad.net/bugs/23252 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 23252] Re: Ubuntu default boot splash is now kubuntu!
OK; that time /I/ wasn't clear :-) I know that step is supposed to regenerate the usplash in the initramfs, but the output in question contains the lines: Searching for splash image ... found but preserving previous setting: splashimage=(hd0,10)/boot/grub/splashimages/kubuntugood.xpm.gz splashimage=(hd0,10)/boot/grub/splashimages/kubuntugood.xpm.gz I was just checking that the poster isn't mistaking a Kubuntu GRUB splash for a Kubuntu usplash. Also, my up to date Kubuntu Dapper system doesn't have grub splash images, so I wonder where they've come from, and whether the /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so symlink has been disrupted by the same thing. At one point the USplashCustomizationHowto wiki page did suggest overwriting the link rather than using the alternatives system. -- Ubuntu default boot splash is now kubuntu! https://launchpad.net/bugs/23252 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
