[Bug 1941752]
Created attachment 144195 New crash information added by DrKonqi gwenview (21.08.1) using Qt 5.15.2 - What I was doing when the application crashed: 1. used darktable to create a jpg from nef 2. opened jpg with showfoto (success, including metadata) 3. attempted to open jpg with gwenview, immediate app abort - Unusual behavior I noticed: * all tools are in default configuration * Gwenview frame started to open but then aborted. This machine is now kubuntu 21.10, and both qwenview and darktable have been updated since the original bug report. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #4 __pthread_kill_implementation (no_tid=0, signo=6, threadid=139933381518528) at pthread_kill.c:44 #5 __pthread_kill_internal (signo=6, threadid=139933381518528) at pthread_kill.c:80 #6 __GI___pthread_kill (threadid=139933381518528, signo=signo@entry=6) at pthread_kill.c:91 #7 0x7f44ccf20476 in __GI_raise (sig=sig@entry=6) at ../sysdeps/posix/raise.c:26 #8 0x7f44ccf067b7 in __GI_abort () at abort.c:79 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to gwenview in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1941752 Title: Regression: exiv2 0.27.3-3ubuntu1.5 makes Gwenview crash when opening images exported by darktable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwenview/+bug/1941752/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1448345] Re: Akonadi personal information management service not operational after upgrading
This seems to be related to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/akonadi/+bug/1445383 akonadi needs mariadb (not newer mySql) to start up. Other things might be involved too. Since akonadi gets used by address book, the notes, kmail, PIM, etc. any problem there will bleed over. The reason for the genuine package thing I think is because the drivers are the binary versions from ATI. Anyways, does this issue still occur, specifically on Karmic? Hey Jeff, sorry it took so long for someone to take a look at your issue. [Bug 380869] Re: KDE4: Keyboard shortcuts disfunctional after reboot
Interesting, back-to-back keyboard issues I am triaging this evening. I am wondering if you may be experiencing an issue with using modifiers (alt, shift, ctrl) with these? I have keys similar, like one to open a web browser, email, and such and they all work fine, and I didn't even have to configure those. In Konqueror 4 and Dolphin 4, this works somewhat. If you set the directory to detailed and then click an image and hit the up arrow, it will go back to your previous view. However going to other folders and what not switch back to icon view if you didn't set that folder to detailed. Konqueror 4 however does have the detailed view option under Inode - Directory. If we were, in Konqueror 3, move the detailed list up under Inode - Directory, then those who don't use it will end up filing a very similar bug. So that isn't an option for a fix.
