Weird changes in templates ??

2014-11-08 Thread Dick Groskamp
During translation of the new changes in Pootle I came across severak
changes in strings containing select=MAC

I don't know if this is intentional but there are differecht kind of
this string:

I came across

caseinline select=\\MAC

caseinline select=MAC\

caseinline select=MAC\\
https://translate.apache.org/nl/aoo40help/translate/helpcontent2/source/text/scalc/guide.po#unit=28644126

https://translate.apache.org/nl/aoo40help/translate/helpcontent2/source/text/sbasic/shared.po#unit=28644047

caseinline select=MAC

where the normal is: caseinline select=MAC as far as I know.

Since I already corrected all I can't seem to find the originals anymore.

I came across them whilst correcting the checks Escapes in POOTLE

I am no technician at all so it could be all very OK but if not there
should come some kind of clean-up I suppose

As far as I understand, Jürgen is coming up with a new revision of the
files. I'll start translating when things settle down a bit.

Aivaras

This looks quite bad, especially seeing that escaping is not symmetric
in the opening and closing quote. So this is almost surely wrong.

When other translators meet this, please send a link to the Pootle
fragment here, for better investigation of the problematic strings.

Andrea.

The corresponding .xhp file is OK. So it is something, which happened on
the way to Pootle.

Kind regards
