Once while demonstrating lace a gentleman who had lived in Paraguay came up to talk about it. He was very pleasantly surprised to find that we knew what it was and where it was from. And I loved the Paraguayan harp music in the background! There is a Paraguayan man here in California who plays the Paraguayan harp and I have heard him play many times. He even recognizes me now! Thanks, Elizabeth, Having only ever seen nanduti in white, I was surprised by the colour. Thanks for mentioning where to see the coloured pictures! I had clicked on the link but didn't see the photos link initially. The colour gives it a whole new dimension. I did one small, simple teneriffe medallion. Now I think I might dig out my hunk of styrofoam, netting needle, and give it another try with some of my leftover coloured threads. Thanks!
