Re: [lace] Tina and the Rocky Mt. LG website
Well, you're still ahead of me ! ; ) I can't even get to the website! I'm the victim of internet blues these days... my ISP sent me an update which trashed their own program. When I wrote to them about it, they said the update had been pulled. Well, that helps ME a lot!! And they can't seem to figure out how to fix my problem. So I'm limping along on a different browser, and it can't find http://www.rockymountainlaceguild.com/ . LG website Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble printing out the form for ordering Tina? I go to the site, see it on my screen, it opens my Adobe (pdf) and prints out a blank page. When I do a print preview, I also only get a blank page even though I see the page on my computer screen. I have an up to date version of Adobe. I produce newsletters for several organizations with the program so I'm not un-familiar with using it. For some reason, I just can't print out anything from their site. I can hand write out the form, but I'd also like to figure out what's going wrong. Any ideas? Ladies of Arachne: _- Website for The little Tina story... http://www.rockymountainlaceguild.com/ . __ Return to the website: If you chose the HTML, it will print from the print icon and you will get two pages of script. If you chose the PDF, once it opens YOU MUST CLICK ON THE PAGE any where and then ASK TO PRINT ON THE ADOBE TOOLBAR and not from the word FILE. See if these suggestions help. Re: [lace] Tina and the Rocky Mt. LG website
Susie, Thank you to you and the others who helped me out with my pdf printing problems. Following your directions, it printed out just fine so the form has been filled out and is waiting for the postman to pick it up. What a good start to a Friday the 13th! Another bit of good news. Some of you may remember that several months ago I posted an inquiry about lace pillow stands. I received such good information, tips and ideas from the list-Kenn was particularly helpful and he sells stands!. I drew up some plans, explained my needs and desires for a stand, took in lace pillows and explained some more. The stand is being made in the Philippines. The furniture shop where it is being made has a master carver (the cousin of the person who is getting this made for me) who has been turned loose on the stand. I'm told it's turned out very nice and is on it's way here. We'll see how well my descriptions and their interpretations have melded together. The container should arrive in the next couple of weeks so I'm anxiously awaiting. Once it arrives I'll be sure and take pictures-unless it's a complete disaster! :-) Dona in Asan, Guam where it is NEVER a lovely 59 degrees.
