Dear Secret Pal,

Thank you so much for my latest parcel that did not come late at all but right
on time.

I love the socks especially the colours and will probably wear them with
boots.

Thank you also for the stamps and the teddy scented sachet that perfumed the
parcel beautifully.

The keyring scissors are a great idea as you never have a pair when you need
them.

I hope that your trip and reunion go well if you are going to be near Heathrow
let me know as I am only a couple of miles away !

[lace-chat] Vancouver Island

Hi,

For those list members who are knowledgeable about Vancouver Island (and I 
know that there are quite a few of you :-) ), I have a question for you. I 
would like to stay somewhere near the north of the island (I've already 
spent a couple of months working at Comox so have seen that bit!) and I am 
looking for recommendations on where to stay.  Ideally, I would like it to 
be a cabin or similar rather than a hotel or BB as I am very independent! 
 I am looking to 'escape from it all' for a few days so would also prefer 
to be away from the centre of any 'town' (though having somewhere 
relatively close would probably be good).  I have a Subaru Forester so 
access via logging roads would not be an issue if that were required.  So, 
does anyone have any recommendations?  Please email me if you do ...
