[leaf-user] Re: [leaf-devel] ANN: Bering-uClibc 2.2
Any info on how to do an easy/painless upgrade from the beta5 to 2.2 to preserve old config files? K.-P. =?iso-8859-15?q?Kirchd=F6rfer?= [EMAIL PROTECTED] 8/18/04 9:26:04 AM Following our well known 'release early, release often' cycle, we are proud to present Bering-uClibc 2.2. This new release had the usual testing period, that included a few betas and one release candidate. Changes from 2.2-rc1: - Busybox rc3 - weblet package was split into two: weblet.lrp (the webpages and CGI scripts) sh-httpd.lrp (the 'webserver') The reason for splitting up 'content' from 'webserver' is to enable use of a different, more powerful webserver like mhttpd, and to ease support of content changes and any enhancements. Important changes from 2.1: - Update kernel to 2.4.26 - linuxrc reworked and a more flexible leaf.cfg was added (in addition to syslinux.cfg) plus a new module loading scheme (Thx to Charles Steinkuehler) - added dnsmasq to the base image, this replaced dnscache and dhcpd - update of ash to dash 0.5.1 - redesign of pcmcia support to easy support and enhance support for more cards. As usual, the full ChangeLog is available at: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/mod.php?mod=userpagemenu=91003page_id=39 You'll find the the base image, a complete modules tarball, an ipv6 drop-in and a CD ISO image with all available packages in the FRS: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=13751package_id=67534release_id=261044 enjoy; for the Bering-uClibc team kp --- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html --- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html

[leaf-user] Shorewall config
I have setup Bering LEAF LRP for a cable modem and 2 NICS. I specified eth0 as the loc and eth1 as the DMZ. I am able to get acces to the internet on the eth0 subnet but not on the eth1. I am able to ping from the bering box to pc's on both networks and also to the box from both subnets. I did use the config files for three-interfaces for shorewall. What other changes can anyone suggest to allow access to the eth1 subnet? Thanks in advance.
