i dont find the reference, but the chipset is via vt8601A with a via c3 eden cpu http://www.silink.fr/produits/docs/stc_net.pdf i tried to boot from the flash disk, when i have time i said ill try with a standard ide drive, and/or put another linux on it debian/rh as i boot on pxe so i can do a standard linux install any help on why the flash don't boot, or at least how to check more deeplly, would be nice C cpu memhd wrote: Hello Cirian, which lex system do you have? [leaf-user] installing leaf on a CF by pxe
hi again, starting with http://leaf.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/bucu-ide.html#id2598724, i did the dhcpd/tftpd setup, pxe-boot ok, then: mkfs.msdos /dev/hdc1 (hdc is the cf) syslinux /dev/hdc1 dd if=/usr/sbin/mbr.bin of=/dev/hdc bs=512 count=1 then continue with 4.5.1. Booting from an onboard IDE-CF system jumped at 7), put the cdiso on my linux, loop mount it, copy the files specified in 3.1. The LEAF Bering-uClibc floppy disk content, not the ldlinux.sys, modif fd0-hdc1 in syslinux.cfg put the initrd_ide_cd.lrp as initrd.lrp, copy all of th files by tftp to the pxe-booted box, in the cf boot, and nothing, hangs at boot mbr (after trying pxe) where i went wrong? thanks c --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
