Kim,
Great. :-)
Your hard work has saved me considerable time. You can see the results
here:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/leaf/bin/packages/glibc-2.0/

I can quite easily convert the excell sheet to a comma seperated value list
and will probably send it in this way to mike so that he can add his glibc
 data.

Please send me a CSV copy off list. Thanks again for taking the time to
do this. :-)

Its an excell sheet (I know I know) But this way I could do some of the
stuff at work :-)

Version were taken from the version file in the package or documentation in
the package.
Original webpage was taken from the .help file or through
freshmeat/sourceforge/google.
Descriptions were taken from .help file/ original download location/
freshmeat/sourceforge/google
and if the packager was David http://www.securityfocus.com/tools :-)

I can quite easily convert the excell sheet to a comma seperated value list

The information in the list is not really complete since their were quite
some things I couldn't figure out what they were
or how to describe them. Since I am just a linux newbie somethings might be
easy to describe for some of you.

If you are the packager of one of those empty lines don't hesitate to mail
me the info or we might find another way
to make the list more complete. Of course you don't have to be the packager
to do this, If you happen to know what a certain package
is just let us know.

Final note : It is quite possible that I screwed up on occasion, it is even
very likelijk ;-) Don't hesitate to send me any corrections you might
have.

Kim

 Larry,
All of our leaf/ directory tree on the SF shell server was searched for
packages. The Bering packages are included.

The html version loads into my browser and I can look at the source but
the main browser shows nothing on the screen. I am use Netscape 4.05,
And it does look good with lynx.

Charles did the html version. I created the text version with his help.
This is only a stopgap measure until I commit all of our packages to
 cvs.

Probably because it doesn't have a .lrp extension.

Because I removed it :-). This package does not exist anymore.
But do not worry your stuff is still there but differently ...

As rc2 is about to come out with pptp support I patched several pppd.
The one with filter activated is there (with some others):
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/packages/pppd/
Look at the README there.

A big thanks goes out to Mike and Charles for making this happen,
it will be appreciated by many people!!! :-)

The only thing I noticed that was missing was any packages kept
in cvs. For those of us who have moved their stuff off of the shell
server, our packages are not listed in the present list.

Thanks again for the excellent work!
