Hi guys thank you for all your kind thoughts I'm sorry i have not
gotten back sooner but as you can imagine i have that much to do i
don't know where to start.
people have been very wonderful here helping me out to get over the
first day or 2 with out anything but what we were wearing tomorrow the
insurance assessor comes so i wont be sleeping tonight
I just some how hope I can again get my legacy mills again because
they are not made any more i will have to rely on you good people out
there to pay for it with my money and then ship it to me here. it will
be a long almost impossible road to get all of my legacy stuff
again.not to mention my house and other woodwork stuff.
I am staying with relatives near by now till i can get my house e
built and yes we are warm comfortable as well as we can be under the
circumstances
will be in touch again as soon as i can get near a computer wish me
luck tomorrow

Bill how about a western union address.  then any of us that would like to
help out can do so individually.  You will find out that there is an immense
amound of woodworking things you will have a hard time replacing..plans,
magazines, and the like. Perhaps that is where we as the group can be of
assistance later on.  I bet we have a lot of ability to share things like
 that much easier than others.

Motorized router lifter

2012-07-09 Thread Dexter Bland

I stumbled across this goodie today. Unfortunately the larger 3.5hp
routers will not fit in this unit (4.2” diameter). I do see it as a
great possibility in upgrading a standard carriage to a z-axis upgrade
that has a motorized control with a depth stop and digital scale. If
this could hold a larger router, I could replace my base plate of my
router carriage by just drilling/tapping 4 holes to attach the slides.
So close, and yet so far to a z-axis upgrade….
