The details and map are a little behind the times
I bought the Revo from Martin a long while ago .-however he may
have bought another!!!
And owing to a house move and a lot of alterations can't get to play on it.
However I am now in Bedfordshire U.K. so you can stick me on the map if you
wish
Richard in the U.K.

Most of the accessories are getting full retail price when being sold
separately.  As part of the mill, they are treated as a bonus.

L1200 sell

2019-01-25 Thread BradH
Gents I have a L1200 basically new. I bought it in 2008. Used only one time.
Has just sat in shop. Long story I am not going to waste your time with that. I
have cancer and sold my shop. I have the mill with about all the accessories
they sold. All gears, table, bits, 7518 router, design kit, nova chuck, you
name I got it. Most still in original packaging. I add the motor drives. I
paid about 6k for all of it. I have many new bits. I know I will not get what I
paid for it but was wondering what I should ask. Can you help me. I can send
more photos and a copy of packing list.

I also have a 4x4 CNC.

Re: L1200

2019-01-25 Thread Rick Waters
Brad,
I wish I could afford it (and that my wife would let me bring it home).

Hey, I hear you. I live in fierce determination that I will have no
regrets. I had stage 3 colon cancer last year. While going through chemo,
we found out my wife had stage 1 bladder cancer. While we were both going
through our own ordeals, my 7 year old daughter had a huge scare with
appendicitis. 2018 was a real bitch for us. While my wife and I know that
our cancers can come back and take us at any time, we are determined to
enjoy the heck out of life, and our kids.

That's kind of why I bought my Woodchuck. I told my older sons I'd find a
way to make them the custom pool cues they'd been asking for. And, as soon
as I get the feeling back in my fingers (chemotherapy can cause
nueropathy), I'm going to start turning again. And learning how to use the
Woodchuck.

There are better days ahead, sir.

Re: Rotary Table w/drive shaft

2019-01-25 Thread MWF
Hi Tim,Like Tim said a bit after you asked the below - I'd say the condition of the accessory and what the accessory is (some harder to find/make than others), are big factors in what the "asking/offering" price will be.  Also related to a sale is "How much trouble will it be to package/ship" - and that adds cost to the sale.  "Local" pick-up would be best for all if that works.  That's why, if someone has something for sale, they should tell us, at a minimum, what big city they live in/near.As for the Rotary Table, I'd venture you will find ones for sale, sooner or later, for between $150 and $300, depending on condition.  For instance Brad (he posted that he's got a L1200) probably has a brand new Rotary Table.  If you could meet up with him, he'd probably sell it to you - because it would be an "EASY" sale - no pack & ship involved.  If it were me, in that situation, I'd offer him between $275 - $300 - especially if he drove a ways to meet up with me.Thanks for all you interactions with The Group.  I/we look forward to seeing what you make using your Mill.Mac-Original Message-
