Well thank you sir for your kind words, my idea was to make videos that people
can follow along at the same time

Sort of like those cooking shows you see on tv and if itā€™s a bit too long
winded or your more experienced Ā click on the settings button and increase the
playback speed

That way hopefully most watchers are happy. I also donā€™t talk on my videos for
2 reasons, one accents not everyone can understand a

Australian accent and Iā€™m a terrible public speaker but most people can read it
lol and 2 when you run at faster speed with the music turned down you can still
understand what is going on by reading . Steven Spielberg Iā€™m not Ā lol but I do
try to cover all the bases. And Iā€™m willing to hand over the reigns Ā any time
someone else wants to do it, I just did videos because no one else was doing
legacy ones and the group was missing out

I donā€™t enjoy making them at all.

Ah but yours are good Bill - very good. You describe (and show) every step,
which is essential with something as complex as some of your Legacy creations.
What frustrates me me about ā€˜typicalā€™ YouTube videos are those that show the
same, often simple, step over and over at normal speed. E.g. I donā€™t need to
see someone take several minutes to insert 14+ screws into a board - one (or at
a push, two) would suffice. Your Legacy pieces, by contrast, often involve
intricate, non-repetitive actions and you, taking your time to show us exactly
what/how you do things, at normal speed, is highly valuable.

 Ā

Donā€™t stop!!

Subscribed - great videos. I love the speed of the videos, with voice
description overlays. I get very frustrated by the ā€˜usualā€™ videos one finds,
where they repeat every step at normal speed - after seeing someone cut one
board, I donā€™t then need to see them repeat it for the other 3 sides of the box
- well, not at normal speed. You do it in fast mode and describe at normal
speed: all 4 sides demonstrated in the timeline of one side. Excellent šŸ˜Š

2023-01-20 Thread bulkeley
Well thank you sir for your kind words, my idea was to make videos that people
can follow along at the same time

Sort of like those cooking shows you see on tv and if itā€™s a bit too long
winded or your more experienced click on the settings button and increase the
playback speed

That way hopefully most watchers are happy. I also donā€™t talk on my videos for
2 reasons, one accents not everyone can understand a

Australian accent and Iā€™m a terrible public speaker but most people can read it
lol and 2 when you run at faster speed with the music turned down you can still
understand what is going on by reading . Steven Spielberg Iā€™m not lol but I do
try to cover all the bases. And Iā€™m willing to hand over the reigns any time
someone else wants to do it, I just did videos because no one else was doing
legacy ones and the group was missing out

I donā€™t enjoy making them at all.

Bill

Donā€™t stop!!

Rick

Subscribed - great videos. I love the speed of the videos, with voice
description overlays. I get very frustrated by the ā€˜usualā€™ videos one finds,
where they repeat every step at normal speed - after seeing someone cut one
board, I donā€™t then need to see them repeat it for the other 3 sides of the box

2023-01-20 Thread Rick Hutley
Ah but yours are good Bill - very good. You describe (and show) every step, which is essential with something as complex as some of your Legacy creations. What frustrates me me about ā€˜typicalā€™ YouTube videos are those that show the same, often simple, step over and over at normal speed. E.g. I donā€™t need to see someone take several minutes to insert 14+ screws into a board - one (or at a push, two) would suffice. Your Legacy pieces, by contrast, often involve intricate, non-repetitive actions and you, taking your time to show us exactly what/how you do things, at normal speed, is highly valuable.Donā€™t stop!!RickOn Jan 20, 2023, at 14:44, bulke...@mmnet.com.au wrote:ļ»æOh well like I always say I make legacy videos but I never said they are good videos lolĀ BillĀ From: legacy-ornamental-mills@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Tim ZieglerSent: Saturday, 21 January 2023 2:18 AMTo: LOM Group Subject: Re: šŸ”“ Couple of Bunkys just started a Premiere: Legacy Ornamental Mill Making a rope twist cane #walkingstickĀ Hey Bill we're not letting you off the hook that easy. 2023-01-20 Thread Rick Hutley
Subscribed - great videos. I love the speed of the videos, with voice description overlays. I get very frustrated by the ā€˜usualā€™ videos one finds, where they repeat every step at normal speed - after seeing someone cut one board, I donā€™t then need to see them repeat it for the other 3 sides of the box - well, not at normal speed. You do it in fast mode and describe at normal speed: all 4 sides demonstrated in the timeline of one side.
