I have plenty of bone setting up at this time.  If all goes well, I should be 
able to start turning some more in the very near future.I have 3 days off this 
weekend, One side job left to work. (appx. 6hrs.) and thenmy free time will be 
mine again. ;-)
Thanks for the kind words Bill. If you or anyone has any new ideas on designs 
and or patterns, Please post some pix.of them. At this point it doesn't matter 
who made them, Ideas and Dreams are what I am chasing at this time. ;-)talk to 
you all more latter.

Hello Everyone.

  

I have the day off form work, So I have started making Christmas presents again.

For those older (long term) members, you should remember that a few years back 
I made 64 magnifying glasses. (I don't plan to make that many this year, but I 
do plan to make a few, Here is the first one of the season.) 

  

These glasses are cheap to buy, under $3.00 at the local hardware store. they 
have plastic handles.

I remove to handle and then use the metal shank (?)(for no better words? The 
metal part that hold the glass to the handle.) I put it in a wood block and 
then used that part in my tail rest to center the part/handle, then I turn it 
on the my lathe and then finish it off on my Legacy.

  

"Well" here is what I made today.
