Just Add a son or Add a daughter - it doesn't matter which - in the
usual way and when the Individual's Information screen opens select the
radio button for ? instead of M or F.

Legacy does indeed restore from clicking on its taskbar icon.

Sorry, I'm not talking about the Taskbar icon, I have no problems with
that. I'm talking
about clicking on the Desktop icon when the program is already loaded but
minimized. It

doesn't load then.

Philip,

Try OptionsCustomiseLocationsTest multimedia paths. And then delete the
ones which cannot be found.

Re: [LegacyUG] Fw: Legacy Help

2008-07-03 Thread Philip Rooke
Hi Evert,
thank you for your assistance, but unfortunately this did not help. I am using
xp pro, and I am sure the help file worked before now, so many updates later
one has messed up my machine. All other programs work fine, just Legacy, I was
just thinking of upgrading to version 7, but until this can be sorted, im
keeping my money.

Regards and thanks again.

This works ok for me, but I'm using Vista and know there was an issue if you
are using Windows Vista, see:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607/en-us I had to install this fix to be
able to run the Help in version 5 on my Vista system.
If you are not using Vista have a look in your Legacy 5 folder and double
click on legacy.hlp (if you cannot see the extension .hlp then click on legacy
with the questionmark icon in front if it) to see if that works ok.

How is it that when ever I click on Help from within the drop down menu,
either content, search for help on or how to use help, nothing happens. I'm
using Legacy 5, is it that I need to upgrade.
I was looking for help on my imported pictures, Questions I have are:-
  1. when importing pictures, do they get imported to a new directory within
Legacy on my C: drive. so that when backing up, they also get backed up.
  2. why not, it makes more sense to keep everything together.
