[LegacyUG] Source list verified entries?
Hello, Can something help please? I have ticked the box in the edit data on a source screen , where the entries means that this source has been verified Is there a way to do a report with a list of sources that not been verified or the reverse that have been verified? Yes I did this but I was interested to talk to a Legacy user who was also using Custodian. Do you know if you can add information already in Legacy or a MS Works database ? RE: [LegacyUG] Transfer files between computers.
Hello Diane, It would be worth looking at the free program from Microsoft called SyncToy (from the MS site) which automatically updates the data files between 2 (or more!) locations. I use it for Legacy on 3 machines here including a Laptop. It allows me to work on any machine and update all databases to the same level. [LegacyUG] Attaching a pdf file to a scource picture `field'
Hello all, I want to attach a pdf file of a document to a souce in egacy version 6, however it is not a format recognised by Legacy. I assume this is because technically pdf is not a picture format, but I would like to do this as I feel it would be a useful way to see the many pdf souce copies I have. And if you had an actual video along side the pdf one you would have to open both to located the pdf. However saying that it does do the job if not as I would want. Does anyone know of another method. Why is the all option not available in the picture area? Just change the file type to all files and locate/attach your pdf. Re: [LegacyUG] Attaching a pdf file to a scource picture `field'
Thanks for your response Denise, Again it works but again I feel it is probably not the correct way as the image in the list is now a sound file so is still misleading. Why is the all option not available for the image selection? Tom - Original Message - From: Denise L. Re: [LegacyUG] Attaching a pdf file to a scource picture `field'
Thanks again Denise, I hope that the Legacy people will suggest an answer or better still add the option somehow to attach a pdf to asource. Tom - Original Message - From: Denise L. That limit was apparently selected during the development coding. Only the programmer who coded this section could identify the why.
