[LegacyUG] ID numbers

2009-07-11 Thread Randolph Clark
Three little questions:

Why were the ID #s moved to the bottom of the Info screen in this latest
update? Why weren't we warned this could happen? Am I crazy?

If you're talking UserID on Individual's Information, I am not aware
they have moved. They've always been in the same position on my screen!

Why weren't we warned this could happen?

Has it really happened?

Am I crazy?

I don't have enough evidence on which to base a decision.

Hello Randolph,

You are not crazy. I just downloaded the new update and the ID numbers are now
at the bottom of the Individual's screen. Warmest Regards Jan

The #'s were probably moved to that format to accommodate the third id
number for Family Search and keep the dropdown box out of the way.
However, wish I could see all the #'s at once. I'm kind of fussy that way

Thanks for the heads-up. I forget to check on new versions of downloadable

2009-07-11 Thread RICHARD SCHULTHIES

I have just fiished the new download 7.0.0.97 10 Jul 2009, and I am guessing it
is a spacing error, since I can access both fields in the Name List; Edit drop
down. This 'band-aid' is available and they can be 'viewed' in different
places, so this is IMHO an oversight and no data has been 'lost'. Hopefully it
will be reversed soon, but at least there is a work-around.

Is there a URL that I can use that lists the new features/changes
between the last build and this new build?

Legacy Home tab. Click on the Updates 'title bar' above the installed
version number. Then click on See What's New. That'll take you into
the web site and show you what's been added, changed and fixed.
