Re: [LegacyUG] Unable to run Legacy 9.0 since last Windows 10 Pro update

2017-06-19 Thread Cathy Pinner

Jim,

There's a Support article on this issue if I've read you right.

If that doesn't help contact Support.

Do install the latest version of Legacy is you haven't. There were small
glitches with right click menus in Legacy caused by the Creators Update
that have been fixed a few updates ago.

is to use the Windows Task Manager to end the Legacy app. This is
actually not a totally new problem.

All versions of Legacy have always had a little glitch loading for at
least the last 5 to 6 years. It has always conflicted with AutoCAD
Civil 3D 2011, but there was a little workaround I discovered to let
me continue. When I click on the icon to load Legacy, the Windows
Installer window appears with the instruction to “Insert the ‘AutoCAD
Civil 3D 2011’ disk and click OK.” I’ve always clicked Cancel, and
Legacy continued to load with no further problems. Legacy is the only
program on my computer that has ever had this problem.

Now Legacy will not continue. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jim

The original message to the list is in the attachment.

This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy
imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages
without conversion to attachments should use a different email address
for their subscription.

Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require
this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email
providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.--- Begin Message ---
Thanks Brian and Maria,

Sounds like ver 9 not ready for refresh

The refresh chart option has several problems recorded. Probably best if
you just create a new chart from scratch if there are changes.

Does anyone know if you can update charts?
I'll change data or photos and create a new chart. But can I just update an
existing chart?

Thanks, Charley
