Jenny You don't need an override for your GRO Index source - just put both names in one of the name boxes and it will read fine without bothering about an override - unless you are bothering that it then reads "entry for Joe Bloggs and Mary Smith" rather than "entries for ..."? LOL I use a Basic style source for the GRO indexes (mostly copy and paste from FreeBMD - I use a clipboard editor to remove the tabs and replace with a couple of spaces instead) and a SourceWriter online database source for the new GRO indexes for birth and death on the GRO website. So much simpler. I just copy the GRO reference to the Credit line. Cathy Jenny M Benson wrote: I was just watching a "Watch Geoff Live" webinar recording and it gave me a good laugh! Geoff was using SourceWriter and an attendee asked what the Override button did so Geoff explained and showed how it was used but said that "Legacy usually does a pretty good job without my need for doing anything with that." That's when I laughed out loud because wasn't it Geoff himself who set up the SourceWriter templates? So of course they do a pretty good job! (I think the only time I have used the Override is for the England and Wales Marriage Index and I override the citation for that because the template allows for one surname and forename(s) but I like the citation to read "... entries for Joe Bloggs & Fanny Adams ..." rather than having 2 separate citations which read "... entry for Joe Bloggs..." or entry for Fanny Adams ..." -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/
