Me neither. And the only problems I saw reported here were the fonts being blanked out and a report printing a lot of jumbled data which someone from support said could be caused by the missing fonts issue. Granted, we don't necessarily see all the problems reported here - we are only the LUG list. ;) --Paula From: sarge1...@cox.net sarge1...@cox.net To: LegacyUserGroup@LegacyUsers.com Cc: Ron Ferguson ronfergy@tiscali.co.uk Sent: Mon, February 27, 2012 9:00:15 AM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Data compatibility between version 7.5.0.142 and version 7.5.0.154 I have not as yet encountered any issues with having downloaded and installed V 7.5.0.154. [LegacyUG] Data compatibility between version 7.5.0.142 and version 7.5.0.154
I am sharing one of my Legacy files with my sister on Dropbox. If I update to 7.5.0.154 will my sister be able to use 7.5.0.142 to open the file? I understand there may have been some changes made to table formats in a version between .142 and .154. If I save the Legacy7setup.exe file as Legacy7setup.142 and update to .154 can I go back to .142 by renaming Legacy7setup.142 to Legacy7setup.exe and reinstall .142 or will I need to restore a backup of .142 data? Bobby, In the past, when there has been a change in the file structure it has not been possible for the file to be read by an older version. I share files with my brother-in-law and suggested to him not to update from V. 7.5.0.142. On the release of 7.5.0.154, I recommended that he updated. During the interval I did not update my files. Thanks Ron, I'm still curious if I can return to .142 by using the Legacy7setup.exe file I downloaded in Feb. to reinstall and then restore the last backup of data in the .142 version.
