Marianne, Since Families is kind of like an add-on (it only works with Legacy), it's not off topic. I'm not sure... maybe I didn't get an email, just a pop-up. Thanks, Sherry - I was able to confirm the auto update of the app to V1.6.0, to download V1.4.5.0 of Families Sync, and to successfully sync my Legacy file to my Kindle Fire. I just needed to be pointed in the right direction, after I lost my notes (map ) as to how to do these things. Last question - you say below you received an email to update Families Sync. I've never gotten an email like that, what am I missing? (sorry if this last question is off-topic). Marianne, I just recently received an email to update Families Sync to v1.4.5.0, which I did, but the app itself on your Kindle Fire should update automatically. I just double checked the app and it shows v1.6.0, which is the latest build of the app itself. So it updated automatically. You can get the latest Families Sync at http://www.telgen.co.uk/families/download/publish.htm (On the Families webpage http://www.telgen.co.uk/families/, there's a small link at the bottom on the left, just above the Legacy icon, that says "Download Families Sync" In the Kindle Fire, to check for app updates, tap on Apps > Store, then the menu button and "App Updates". Hi - I wanted to update my Families app on my Kindle Fire today (V1.5.0 was announced 23 Mar 2012 by Malcolm Green - I'm way behind on doing this), but I can't find it in the Amazon App Store. Can someone help me? I have instructions on how to download from Amazon to my Fire, but not for any other source. After I download the updated version I also will be syncing my Legacy database to my Fire.
