Updates seem to restore it. I have deleted mine, and it is back with
the next update. To make that happen when there is no update
available, try the dialog in Windows install/remove. Many programs
have a repair option. Or run (double-click) the Legacy7Setup file
in your C:\Legacy folder.

Re: [LegacyUG] Sample file

2012-12-10 Thread Ron Ferguson
Doug,

It does not really make sense to delete the Sample File - it hardly takes up
any space, and as you say, it will be put back when updated.

You may ask why doesn't is make sense?. Well, if I wish to try something out
I use the Sample File, which makes sure that I do not mess up my Family File.
Secondly if you hit a problem which may be a bug you can test it on the Sample
File and, more importantly, give the details on this list thus helping others
to check it out on the same file.

Re: [LegacyUG] Sample file

2012-12-10 Thread Brian/Support
Do you already have Legacy open when you try to open the sample file?
You cannot double click on a filename to open it if Legacy is already
running? Use File Open Family File in Legacy.
