No crashes, if the same sheet is pasted to another empty files. Librefoffice Calc crashes also if some parts of the file are copy pasted to another sheet. Sample file follows in attachment. Select content in the sheet jan by pushing button in left upper corner of the sheet, press copy, then move to sheet feb, place cursor in cell A1, press paste. Libeoffice crashes. Therefore to avoid this kind of crash in the future, it will probably help you to check the following possibilities: 1) Do you have any accesibility features enabled? Apple’s accessibility features like VoiceOver or Enable access for assistive devices, which get enabled in System Preferences Universal Access (in German: Bedienungshilfen; dont’t know about other languages), are known to cause many crashes in LibreOffice (see bug 47368). So please try to disable any accesibility features, i.e. uncheck VoiceOver, Enable access for assistive devices, etc. 2) Do you have installed any window management/user interface utilities/apps for MacOS X like * Moom (see bug 42014) * Cinch (see bug 51791) * RightZoom (see bug 51686) * ShiftIt(see bug 52147) * BetterSnapTool (see bug 53240)? All these and many similar utilities rely heavily on accessibility issues and therefore cause LibreOffice to crash. So please check if you have installed any utility of this kind and try to disable it (or to add LibreOffice to the list of excluded applications for the utility, if there is such a thing). Disabling both all of Apple’s accessibility features and all accessibility-related/window management utilities, and then re-starting your Mac should fix the LibreOffice crash. Please try this. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45675 --- Comment #10 from Alex Thurgood ipla...@yahoo.co.uk 2012-09-01 09:05:48 UTC --- (In reply to comment #8) doesn't it). The MAIN problem is that it looks NOBODY is using LibreOffice Base to access DB2 database, so there is nobody to confirm if the bug really exists. And because nobody is using Base to access DB2, nobody really cares if it works or not, because it effects only single person (me), so it is insignificant bug. Also to reproduce this bug someone should take the road to download, install and configure DB2 system, and to do this, someone needs to have DB2 knowledge. So too much effort to confirm a bug that only effects single person. That is probably true to a certain extent. However, you could help us further by enabling trace logging in your ODBC driver options, and providing that trace log here in the bug issue. So, for the time being, please leave the NEEDINFO status. That would at least enable us to see what might be happening with the calls to the server. In your title, you mention a remote connection. This would imply that your DB2 server and clients (WinXP? Vista? 7?) are not on the same physical machines (unless they're virtualised). Please provide us with these details. The Writer's graphic layer is not the same as the graphic layer of Draw. Workaround : start to drawing connectors in Draw then copypaste in your text document. Now you can modify the connectors in Writer even if the connectors tool is not available in the drawing toolbar. AFAIK, a long term project is to unify the graphic layers of Writer and Draw. When I try to set certain formatting to Sundays and Saturdays, like in column A in sample file (formula to apply different style is OR(WEEKDAY(A1)=6;WEEKDAY(A1)=7)). If default Date format (12/30/1899) is selected, special formatting is applied to Fridays and Saturdays, if Date format 01/01/1904 is selected, special format is applied to Saturdays and Sundays like predicted, if Date format 01/01/1900 (StarCalc 1.0) is selected, special formatting is applied to Wednesdays and Trursdays. As far as I know, LibO takes the key nams from OS keyboard. So, when the Lib UI language and keyboard language don't match, there is a weird effect. There are languages without an own keybaord, because keyboard layouts are usually country issue, not language issue. I think the best approach is to localize key names at LibO side, just like other big projects do it (Mozilla Firefox for instance). So, it will be allowed to localize key names to LibO UI language. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Rationale: This is a follow-up of the long-standing bug 34814, which was finally fixed in LibO 3.5.4. Since this fix, bullet lists are imported correctly from .doc/.docx files in LibO on Windows and Linux -- but still not on Mac OS X. For this special case (bullet lists still wrong on Mac OS X), the special bug 50284 was filed. Now bug 34814 was a MAB; therefore, bug 50284, which is about the same problem, just limited now to a single platform, must be a MAB, too. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 53839] CRASH when insert row in particular document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53839 --- Comment #28 from B.J. Herbison b...@herbison.com 2012-09-01 17:23:19 UTC --- Some earlier comments mentioned that Conditional Formatting might be to blame. but it doesn't appear to be. I removed all conditional formatting from every sheet with Formatting/Conditional Formatting/Manage and row inserts on unmodified 3.6 still caused the crash. How much slower is the daily build than a release build? On 3.5 it takes 2 seconds CPU seconds (times from ps) to insert a row, 4 CPU second to undo the insert. With the daily build of 3.6 it takes 75 CPU seconds to insert the row, 85 CPU seconds to undo the insert. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Please list the single first steps concerning import dBase-tables into Base. In comment 2 you write When I open the table. What and how do you open? Please list the file. In your description you write This must be corrected and I have to change this. Are this two points/example the bugs? In your description shows the first picture the settings of the dBase-file. Right? Is there any doubt that the shown data (e.g. SPECIES_NR,N,0 or SYNONYM,L) can be wrong or a fake? I´m asking because I will test without availability of dBase and set status to NEW if I can reproduce the steps and the behavior. I must trust that the information concerning dBase are right. PS: another person (with dBase) obviously do not have time or inclination to test. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
