 The new row should
open above the current row and carry the formatting of the current row with
 it.

Can you pls attach your sample file + steps?
For me it's always the opposite.
The option mentioned by Marisov, makes that a range is extended at the edge
where a row/column is insterted.

not mission critical)

Quid? TDF GNU/Linux builds don't ship base?

It seems TDF build ships everything in core and the base package is a fake
empty package.

Thanks for the hint - changing my database column into a boolean data type
turns out to be a useable workaround. So I can at least move to LO 4.1 now.

But of course this doesn't resolve the bug itself because the values for the
reference values ON and OFF that are entered in the check box definition on the
form are still being ignored by LO 4.1 .

Sorry I don't agree that this is a duplicate of #33656. They are talking about
corrupted images. My image is not corrupted in the PDF; it is rendered
perfectly except that the cropping is not applied. Reopening, but we need to
retest if #33656 is ever closed.

To reproduce, there is a sample ODP attached to #68144 which makes it easy.

My mistake,
the format is inherited from the row/column above/left of the selection, not

to automatically apply the formatting attributes of the selected cell to the

Hi Cors,
Its very easy to answer the question you asked in your last comment.

Please read the black color text beginning with Hi Brenda in comment 6 (six)
above for a description of the problem.

For a picture of the problem, kindly click on the link I provided in comment 9
(nine) above, or just take another look at your screenshots from Ubuntu. It
shows the same problem, you just overlooked it.

Please also read the entire text in my reply in comment 22 (twenty two).

If you compare how the pictures render in LibreOffice to how they render in the
pdf version of the document, which I have attached to the bug, you may see the
problem.

Reproduction Instructions:

1) Close all LibreOffice windows (except Start Center).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 65617] Liberation Sans/Serif/Mono Regular get displayed as a generic monospace font (Courier New) on Windows XP 64

2013-09-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65617

--- Comment #5 from Dennis Grunert dennisgrun...@hotmail.de ---
After some more testing, it seems this is _not_ a Libreoffice bug but a bug
between the Liberation font and Windows. It's because the wrong displaying also
occurs, when one changes the font in the Windows Editor to one of the
Liberation fonts, so it's not Libreoffice specific, but appears one
updates/installs Libreoffice.

Fix: Install the newest version of the Liberation font 2.00 from
https://fedorahosted.org/liberation-fonts/. Windows needs a restart, if you
only copy the ttf's to %windir\fonts instead of installing them.

This is bug report should still be kept open, since Libreoffice should not
distribute a font version with bugs, so this should be fixed in the next minor
release.

Summary: F5 jumps to the first transparency
  Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
  Reporter: juanjose.garciarip...@gmail.com
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.1.0.4 release
 Component: Presentation
   Product: LibreOffice

Summary:
Instead of presenting the current transparency, when entering presentation mode
LibreOffice jumps to the first transparency.

Expected behavior:
Pressing the F5 key should enter presentation mode for the current
transparency.

Rationale:
When doing a presentation it is quite usual the need to go to a certain
transparency, specially after the talk is finished. The usual behavior with
PowerPoint is to switch of presentation mode, scroll to the right transparency
and enter presentation mode again. LibreOffice also used to work this way until
recently, IIRC.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69140] Automatic Slide Advance Problem

2013-09-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69140

--- Comment #4 from Richard Marchessault rhodyr...@gmail.com ---
1. Open presentation into Impress. The presentation has 11 slides. The
presentation is designed to run automatically. Each slide has a video. The
slide needs to be displayed until the video is completed.
2. Slide 1 has a short 10 sec video. Click on the View menu and select
Normal.
3. Click on the View menu and make sure there is a check mark before Task
Pane
4. Open the menu for Slide Transition on the Task Pane
5. In the Advance slide section of Slide Transition click on Automatically
After and enter 10. The 10 changes to 10.00sec. This is fine.
6. Slide 2 has a video which runs for 121 sec. Advance to slide 2 in the
Normal view.
7. In the Advance slide section of Slide Transition click on Automatically
After and enter 121. Press Tab to exit the text box and the 121 changes to
99.99sec. This is not correct.

That is the problem.

I found that I can work around this by using the recording timer with the
Slide Sorter view to record that actual time. When the actual time is
recorded, it still displays as 99.99sec in the Slide Transition section of
the Task Pane of the Normal view but correct value seems to be stored since
the video displays for the correct time.

(In reply to comment #3)

@Chris Wilson: Hi,
It is a duplicate of bug 33656, as well as bug 47692, because it's all the
same bug. As you can see in your PDF, the image size is equal to the cropped
size. The reason that your image isn't distorted, is that you're keeping the
same aspect ratio as the original image.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69179] New: Scrolling with cursor keys messes up keyboard input

  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: aaalmo...@gmail.com
  Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.0.4.2 release
 Component: Spreadsheet
   Product: LibreOffice

When scrolling is too fast compared to rendering (big table with charts on a
slow machine), something breaks in LO's input handling. After that the cursor
keys do weird things, like moving the cursor diagonally, or in the opposite
direction, or the right key moves right 3 times then one to the left, then 3
times right, then left again etc. The same can happen to pgup/pgdown. Sometimes
it's like there is a given chance that the keys do something different than
normally.

In this state other keys behave erratically as well.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a large table in Calc, preferebly with some charts as well
2. hold the right/down key for a while to let the thing scroll
3. try to move the cursor again with the arrow keys

Problem description:

The context command on the sheet tab Move/Copy Sheet ...
makes the reference invalid (=#REF!.A1)
(example below)

or renames the reference target sheet to the one one of the copy sheet
(=Sheet1.A1 instead of =Sheet2.A1)
(happened to me to a range inside a VLOOKUP unable to reproduce)
or when pressing ctrl move_tab with mouse to copy (reproducable but doesn't
happen all the time)

noticed in 4.1.0.4 / Windows 7 x64

Steps to reproduce:
1. create Sheet1 and Sheet2 and fill Sheet2 with data (A1)
2. create a reference in Sheet1 ( =Sheet2.A1 )
3. use the Move/Copy Sheet ... command mentioned above
4. look in the copied Sheet at the reference

The Reference gets replaced with =#REF!.A1

or even =Sheet1.A1

(In reply to comment #7)
Thanks for the hint - changing my database column into a boolean data type
turns out to be a useable workaround. So I can at least move to LO 4.1 now.

When I have read checkbox I thought it must be a boolean field. But my
ODBC-connection doesn't show it as boolean - only char(fix) for 1 character.

But of course this doesn't resolve the bug itself because the values for the
reference values ON and OFF that are entered in the check box definition on
the form are still being ignored by LO 4.1 .

What type of field have you set for this checkbox before? Where have you
created the field? In MySQL directly, with Base and ODBC ...

What type of field have you set for this checkbox before? Where have you

I think I created it in Base, but I am not sure, it might also have been
pgadmin. Its about 2 years since.

The two columns (old that doesn't work, new that does) show up as following:
pgadmin:
old: character length 1
new: boolean

base:
old: text (fix) [char] Length 1
new: text [varchar] length 5

and the value stored in the boolean column shows up as 0 and 1 in Base.

So - we should port the individual tests to use real config paths that exist in
the configuration instead of trying to use the data.xcd paths that don't exist
:-)

We should prolly also add one or two of Noel's new-style configuration
accessors in there, just to exercise them a bit - in fact, Noel would be an
excellent mentor for the rest of this issue.

Thanks !

Created attachment 85574

document with the scenario mencioned obove

Problem description:
I have made a table in the Text and like to copy it to other places in the
text.
When I have the formatting of an list and I insert the table with coy and
paste, the the formatting inside the table also gets the list- formatting.
Second thing is that the following paragraph, if it is a chapter wit number
also gets the list-formatting
Please view the document which I added.
This problem is kown in the 3.x versions and also in the 4.0 versions.
I get the same behavour with Ubuntu and windows version.

Steps to reproduce:
1. make a tabe in the text.
2. copy it to the clipboard
3. make to new paragraphs.
4. the first mark as list
5. the second make as heading1.
6.in the menu extra-chapternumbring put tthe formatting for the heading1 that
it shows the number of the chapter.
7. put the curswor in the line with the list and insert the table of the
clipboard.

Current behavior:
the tableformatting has changed to list and the following paragraph is now a
list.

Expected behavior:
the table should be inserted as is, without changing the format, nither inside
the table or any other paragraph.
Adicional information:
Same happens when I have a Bulled-list and a numbered list in the following
line and I insert the table in the Bulle-List. (see added document)

is there a specific Impress that makes it crash or any file causes the crash?
is the crash happening just with old 4.0 files or even with brand new 4.1
files?
