[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72417] Array formulas can not be put back only as values.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72417 --- Comment #2 from Petr Neudek --- Created attachment 90395 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90395&action=edit Basic Library Sorry about that. I tested the load Calc. Preparing extensions "Combinatorial formulas". Macro generates a formula combining, Variations without repetitions and variations with repetition and Factorial (it can also Variations without repetitions, but the reason it has). - When developing patterns easily overload occurs machine - I tested what happens when you type "Expad all" formula for the factorial (10) = 3,628,800 rows. - The development should report the impossibility of operations. This will prevent the fall of LO (AOO) - The formulas but do not test capabilities of the machine and the fall is often overload. - The error showed me sometime after the 3rd a system crash or not work "smaller factorials that fit easily". - Matrix syntax to use only the factorial and variations without repetition. -- I enclose my library for factorial n = 10th There are 2 types of patterns. Hence follows the story of manipulation. --- After running the macros are generated two lines: 1 the lines are just starting numbers (this is for all the different patterns of the same) Second line are custom formulas that are copied normally (array is just in line) - Patterns in the final version offers more options dialogue (No expand, expand automatically keep the formula, leaving only numbers and "associative table" - a system of reference in which it is possible to read anything - such as disordered alphabetic character, a word, and the like - the ability to encrypt a huge compression ...). Offers in the library is not complete and solves the problem of how to overload using the On Error GoTo ... But the patterns are functional for manual copying. - The library is a macro GetFactorial10_i plus "normal" = GetFactorial10. Both works "well", but the formula "normal" (without the "i" at the end) depending on which line starts. These formulas must be correct for the start line MOD (FACT (x)) = 1 This defect removed in version GetFactorial10_i. This version creates its own order (yellow background). - The problem up long tables of formulas in other columns (sheets and workbooks) I have almost solved, but only for version numbers alone (formulas and associative table not) -- The purpose of the formula, GetFactorial10_i the user (start at the cursor) The purpose of the formula, GetFactorial10 the preparation of user functions similar to the functions ROT13. Sorry about that. It could have causes other than the fault LO Calc. I'll check and write. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66901] [SVG] SVG images within a presentation, deform (change aspect) to be exported in vector format.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66901 --- Comment #7 from Owen Genat --- Created attachment 90394 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90394&action=edit SVG exports of slide 1 and 3 (from orig ODP) and some screenshots. Like bug #66900 this is a rather general bug report, which touches on several different issues. While there does appear to have been a regression in the handling of certain objects in SVG within Impress, the situation with SVG handling has many associated bug reports and is not simple, particularly since v4.0. The ODP provided in comment #0 contains three slides (s1, s2, s3), each with a single SVG. I have not dealt with s2 as is essentially the same as s1. Here are some details about the SVGs: s1: Source: http://openclipart.org/people/emilie.rollandin/diagramma_a_torta_2.svg Generator: Adobe Illustrator 15.0.0, SVG Export Plug-In . SVG Version: 6.00 Build 0 s3: Source: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/74/Normal_Distribution_PDF.svg Does not validate as SVG 1.1 + XHTML5 + MathML 3.0: Line 4, Column 232: Inkscape element grid not allowed as child of Sodipodi element namedview in this context. Error refers to this line: The validation error for the s3 SVG does not appear to be related as removing the problem element ensures validation, but does not fix the exporting issue described here. I opened the ODP under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running: - v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6 - v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602 - v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b - v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b - v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24 - v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a I then exported s1 and s3 to SVG under each of these versions. While there are some small differences between v3.3.0.4, v3.4.6.2, v3.5.7.2, and v3.6.7.2 the resulting SVGs are largely OK. In both v4.0.6.2 and v4.1.3.2 however there is a significant degradation in the handling of: a. Bounding for gradient fills (refer s1 examples). b. Complete lack of support for exporting chart object (refer s3 examples). I have included screenshots in the case of s3 to show what I am seeing on screen, as the chart entirely fails to export, even though a lot of data is seemingly written the exported SVG. These would appear to be the two main problems described in this report. Given that the problem only applies to v4.0 and later, this report may be another artefact of bug 62284. Problem (a) would also appear to be related to bug 47441 (and there are many similar bug reports in the 47000-49000 range dealing with specific import / export filter details). Problem (b) is a more serious regression, exhibiting the type of behaviour in the attachment to comment #4 for the v4.0 series. The exported SVG for s1 v3672 contains a large ECMAScript. The exported SVG for s1 v4062 shows a doubling in size (over v3672) as a result of the SVG only appearing to contain an large embedded raster object. The exported SVG for s1 v4132 is smaller (although still large) as a result of containing many path fill commands e.g., > This tends to indicate large changes in the manner in which LO exports to SVG under recent series. I imagine this report is essentially a duplicate of several other bug reports that together describe the same problems indicated here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48918] FORMATTING: grow / shrink custom animation effect mstill missing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48918 rainyda...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|INVALID |--- --- Comment #3 from rainyda...@gmail.com --- Reopening this bug as I am running into the same issue as the original reporter. **Bug Description** In LibreOffice Impress, there should be a custom animation under the Emphasis category for Grow/Shrink. Others have confirmed that this feature does exist in Impress. If you import a PowerPoint project that uses this feature, it works correctly in Impress (see OpenOffice Forum and Launchpad links below). **Related Background Information** It was "reported" and confirmed back in 2006. I say "reported" because searching various bug trackers and discussion leads me to this OpenOffice discussion being the first (and only) reported incident back in 2006: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=33998 The first real bug report was in Launchpad in 2010 on the Ubuntu bug tracker for both OpenOffice and LibreOffice Impress as it effects both projects: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/651511 This bug report references that discussion and I believe whoever reported this bug also is referencing that forum discussion (but without providing a link). No fix was ever implemented by Ubuntu because it was deemed something that it should be fixed upstream. Also, since no new packages from OpenOffice/LibreOffice were going into the reported version of Ubuntu, the bug was closed as Won't Fix. Searching on the OpenOffice bug tracker, the closest thing I found was this report about Grow/Shrink in the Draw application: https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=82717 There does not appear to be any report of this bug in the OpenOffice tracker for Impress. Searching on the LibreOffice bug tracker obviously led me to this being the only reported incident of the bug. **Updated Information / Confirmation** I've tested that this option is missing on both: * Windows 7 x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2 * ArchLinux x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2 If needed, I can test this on other platforms as well but the bug seems straightforward. If needed, I can get a PowerPoint file with the animation to test in Impress when I go to work on Monday. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I managed to accomplish this but, to my dismay, I discovered that the endnotes were out of order. Up to #74 they were fine but after 74 came 270 to 194 (i.e. in reverse order). After that came 130-134 then 154-159 then 242-261 and so on. I'm not even sure that all the endnotes were present. I have tried cutting and pasting one chapter at a time into a new document but the problem persists. However, removing and re-inserting the endnote works most of the time - but not always. This patch complements 85ea03ae536831649b104694d08dced4d4c8663f (and 6fbba11da54b52554941f00b07e42cc5d7a1643c, which didn't work correctly before) This also fixes issues when clicking on another object to stop text editing. Switches off text mode, and instantaneously selects the other object. (Rotation doesn't belong into the ./sd/ text routine AT ALL, which also caused bug 37482, which is resolved differently from now on) (Creating text fields doesn't belong into the ./sc/ shape text routine either, and if this executed, it causes funny glitches) Known issues: text mode stays on when you use drag'n drop (the one WITH waiting, to move to other applications etc). ... so if a click doesn't select an object inside another marked object it's a bug, but if a click drags the object inside marked object it's also a bug? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60705] Can't print to rear paper feed slot on EPSON WF-3540
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60705 --- Comment #35 from Andrzej J.R. Hunt --- (Printing to the rear paper feed slot on my Epson EF-3520 now works, so fixed I guess...) In fact it turns out we were binning any print-option which didn't have a comment in the PPD, which is in fact the case for most options (a sanity check mistakenly checked that we had a comment, whereas presumably it was intended to instead ensure that there was in fact an option). (Page size has a comment including the page dimensions hence it worked fine -- most options don't seem to have such a comment, e.g. InputSlot.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72390] CRASH : calc will crash on filesave a particular file after modifying just one cell content
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72390 --- Comment #9 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- The crash seems to have something to do with the formatting of column B. Try that: click on the header of the column to select the entire column, then press ctrl+M to remove all manual formatting (don't worry with the loss of date formatting), then ctrl+S. Most of the time, it works for me. Yes, most of the time but not always. If it works you can restore the date formatting and it continues to works. Best regards.
