[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52461] Cell border highlight when selecting formula gives 2 or more different colors to same cell
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52461 Markus Mohrhard changed: What|Removed |Added CC||markus.mohrhard@googlemail. ||com --- Comment #7 from Markus Mohrhard --- Let me take over the mentoring for this one from Kendy. The solution is actually quite simple. Use a map in ScRangeFindList for maEntries like std::map and storing the color in ScRangeFindData. This also removes the need for the static function ScRangeFindList::GetColorName. Now your insert method does two things(actually std::map::insert will do the work for you): If the range is already in the map return the old color otherwise insert and return the new color. Bonus points for cleaning up gridwin4.cxx:794 and following. Follow-up easy hack if interested could be to make ScInputHandler::InitRangeFinder use one of the existing formula parsers and go through the formula tokens instead of implementing our n-th formula parser. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I traced it down to a call to the Sort() function, which calls a UNO function to sort some rows. Here is the relevant Basic code (which seems to abort only in context): dim args() as new com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue sCellrangeName as String (contains "$A$8:AC47") oCellRange = oSheet.getCellRangeByName(sCellrangeName) oCellRange.Sort(args()) 'never returns, process aborts Steps to reproduce (Unix only, sorry): 1. Download the attached "tickers.csv" into /tmp/tickers.csv (this path is hard-coded in the demo program) 2. Open the attached j.ods spreadsheet. Enable macros. 3. (Click the Design Mode ON/OFF icon if necessary to exit design mode -- working around bug 73293) 4. Click the yellow "Reload tickers.csv" button Click through a few MsgBox displays. If it does not crash, repeat - it always crashes by the 2nd try. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 73289] New: MAILMERGE: Can not remove page-break from multiple paragraphs at once if doc came from mail-merge
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73289 Priority: medium Bug ID: 73289 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: MAILMERGE: Can not remove page-break from multiple paragraphs at once if doc came from mail-merge Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: james_av...@yahoo.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.3.2 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 91498 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=91498&action=edit Sample Mail Merge output where page-breaks can not be bulk-removed In Writer, you can remove the "page break" setting from all paragraphs which have it by selecting all (^A) and then Format->Paragraphs. The "Break" checkbox will be red if some but not all of the paragraphs have it set. Clearing the box removes page-breaks from every selected paragraph which had it. But this does not work for page breaks inserted by Mail Merge. Something about those page breaks makes them immune to being changed during a multi-paragraph format change; in fact, the paragraph formatter seems to be unaware that they exist because the Break check-box is not red when formatting multiple paragraphs. You can remove the breaks one paragraph at a time, however. So those MM-generated breaks are not completely bogus. This is a problem for users because Mail Merge does not offer the option of not inserting page breaks, so the only work-around for generating continuous output (not one page per record) is to manually remove the the MM-produced page breaks from the generated .odt file. It is impractical to remove the breaks one paragraph at a time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. First, open the attached "test_manuallycreated.odt". Select all (^A), Format->Paragraph->Text Flow, and notice that the "Break" checkbox is red. Check it and apply, repeat and un-check it. All paragraphs are affected. This is how it should be. 2. Now open "test_mmoutput.odt" which has a similar structure, but the page-breaks came from Mail Merge. Select all (^A) and Format->Paragraph->Text Flow, and the "Break" checkbox is white (should be red), and there is no sequence of operations which removes all the MM-generated page breaks, except to edit the format of each paragraph separately, one at a time (which is impractical with many data records). EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: When editing Paragraph formats for multiple paragraphs simultaneously, page-breaks inserted by Mail Merge should behave just like manually-inserted page breaks, i.e., they should be recognized by the Para. format editor in multi-paragraph mode. It is yet another genealogy report from the GRAMPS database, but this time just a sample database, so no sensitive data. Fortunately (well, for testing) the problem already happens with this small report. It is interesting to note that the affected images are the three images on the right hand side of the first report page. In my previous long report the missing images were also usually on the right hand side (right aligned), but not all such images were missing and are missing in this sample. Now that I think of it: The affected images in the other problematic book were also on the right hand side. This is probably not just coincidence. If I scroll down after saving the document for the first time and then up I can see the "Read error" message on the affected images. If I then do a PDF export the images are missing in the resulting PDF, just the frames remain. To me this looks as if during the "Save as" operation the links of the affected images to their in-memory location get broken, thus LO being unable to show and correctly save those images afterwards. The bug was however resolved after I deinstalled the older LibreOffice, then reinstalled 4.2.0.1 instead of merely upgrading (Base is then installed). For this reason I'm changing the status from NEEDINFO to NEW since imo either during upgrade setup needs to make sure base is installed even when it wasn't before or to make this explicit in the documentation.
