The website of the extension indicated a compatibility with 3.3 and 3.4 so since LO master sources doesn't open it could be considered somehow as ok. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 73277] Cell's indent in RTL
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73277 --- Comment #8 from Ady ady...@hotmail.com --- @Muhammad Bashir Al-Noimi, Could you please perform the following test? 1_ Start a new clean Calc workbook. 2_ Type-in several cells with some text. Insert the text without any prior cell formatting. To ease the testing procedure, I would suggest using cells in one column only. 3_ Select the cells with text. 4_ Click on the RTL icon. 5_ Click on the right-alignment text icon. At this point, all selected cells should contain their respective text with Right-to-left *direction*, and the text should be *aligned* to the right-side border of the respective cell. 6_ With the cells still selected, click on the increase indent icon. Note that the icon itself shows the arrow (or triangle) pointing from left-to-right, but the effect is not to add indentation from the left to the right side. The expected behavior of this icon is increase indentation. Note that the language of the text is not relevant. For right-aligned cells that are also set to RTL, the increase indentation icon moves the text to the left and adds space (indent) to its right, in relation to the border of the cell. Can you please try to replicate this behavior? See the last paragraph about copying formulas in LibreOffice. LibreOffice help: Copying Formulas There are various ways to copy a formula. One suggested method is: 1. Select the cell containing the formula. 2. Choose Edit - Copy, or press Ctrl+C to copy it. 3. Select the cell into which you want the formula to be copied. 4. Choose Edit - Paste, or press Ctrl+V. The formula will be positioned in the new cell. If you want to copy a formula into multiple cells, there is a quick and easy way to copy into adjacent cell areas: 1. Select the cell containing the formula. 2. Position the mouse on the bottom right of the highlighted border of the cell, and continue holding down the mouse button until the pointer changes to a cross-hair symbol. 3. With the mouse button pressed, drag it down or to the right over all the cells into which you want to copy the formula. 4. When you release the mouse button, the formula will be copied into the cells and automatically adjusted. If you do not want values and texts to be automatically adjusted, then hold down the Ctrl key when dragging. Formulas, however, are always adjusted accordingly. The attachments from eric.savary and bohdal in the related bug all load and display as expected (without the need for F9 refresh). The attachments from bobkeyes deal with footnote cross-references and so, again, are a separate issue not described by either this bug or the related Apache issue, both of which are concerned with illustration and equation (i.e., caption) cross-references. i think this should be a separate bug from this MAB. can we close this one? IMHO is the ugliest and less usable of all the bunch and I'm not aware of many users employing it. probably the mix of hi-contrast LibO icons and Win7 basic theme is a bad match as I can see from your screenshot... so the workaround is to use a different LibO icon theme or a different Win7 theme I change summary notes and I set status to NEW though I'm tempted to label this as NOTABUG. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 74205] New: Printing certain documents causes printer to hang
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74205 Priority: medium Bug ID: 74205 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Printing certain documents causes printer to hang Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: leeksou...@gmail.com Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.1.2 release Component: Printing and PDF export Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 93031 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=93031action=edit test case document that causes printer to hang When printing some documents, my printer hangs. This problem is with Writer and also Impress. The printer may print a page or so (or not!) and then it says Processing ... and stays there sometimes for 20 minutes or longer. I have to power cycle it to reset as it does not respond to any cancel request. However, if I print the same document to a PDF file, and then print the PDF from Adobe Reader, there is no problem. This problem was not happening with old OpenOffice or previous 3.x version of LibreOffice. To reproduce: 1. Open file (test file attached). The test file is a docx file from URL http://www.bisd.net/cms/lib02/TX01001322/Centricity/Domain/250/2.3_Product_Rule,_Higher_Order_Derivs,_Accel.docx but saving it as ODT doens't change the print problem. 2. Print Workaround: 1. Print to file 2. Open file in Adobe Reader 3. Print Other info: The printer is a Dell 3100cn with a Linux PPD file for driver. Have had it for years and printed with no problem like this until recently. All other software prints to it fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 74206] New: large autocorrect lists: typing in 'Replace' field is slower than 'With' field
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74206 Priority: medium Bug ID: 74206 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: large autocorrect lists: typing in 'Replace' field is slower than 'With' field Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: ba...@quipo.it Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 3.6.0.4 release Component: Linguistic Product: LibreOffice issue is only noticeable when you work with large auocorrect replacement lists. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1- have a large autocorrect list. If you need one take this file ( attachment 57846 ) which is an italian autocorrect database and put in the autocorr subfolder of your user profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) 2- open Writer and click Tools/Autocorrect options/Replace 3- start typing anything fast in the Replace field, you'll will notice some delay between keyboard hits and text visualization 4- type anything fast in the With field, no delay at all CURRENT BEHAVIOUR: typing in the Replace field is slower than the With field DESIRED BEHAVIOUR: same typing speed. I suppose that the slowness of the replace field is due to the fact that while you type the list automatically scrolls down alphabetically to insert the new entry in the proper position. If you have few autocorrect entries you won't notice the different speed but when you deal with long lists a slight delay become recognizable. a speed improvement has been already obtained in the past during 3.6 master development. see this committ: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3da2a6a58784a3c607ea4e440865478f1a4fe56e anyway I wonder if a further speed up is yet possible, since a slight annoying delay is still noticeable in current LibO 4.1.4.2 and 4.3alpha -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
