Yes of course, but that is not the question. The cell should display #N/A
before recalculating.

IMHO , this happen because you still in copy/paste(C/P) mode ...

between steps 8 and 9 when you finish pasting, hit ESC button to deactivate C/P
mode and try to edit the comment, it will be OK and the comment will be saved ,
because you finish C/P mode. otherwise, C/P mode still active and you can see
the borders of copied cell still "flushing".

I am not sure if this is a bug or not :)

The string was translated incorrect (wrong accelerator: _ instead of ~) as well

Confirmed with both .docx files.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open one of the two docx files listed in comment 7
2. Export to pdf

Observed: the bar fills up and gets to 100% and then sticks there but you are
still able to work on the file

Expected: Export completes and bar goes away


New
Trivial - won't cause any real problems because you can still work on the file
but still a regression and a bug
Low - bumped up from lowest because it's a regression

Confirmed. The round-trip with save copy from .DOC -> .ODT -> and save copy
back to .DOC

The opening of the .DOC file retains formatting of original and as in the PDF.

The opening of the .ODT copy retains formatting of original and as in the PDF.

Saving from the .ODT to .DOC corrupts the formatting.

On Windows 7 sp1, 32-bit
Version: 4.3.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 2e39c7e59c8fc8b16a54c3d981dceef27fb0c07f

SVG is being rendered as vector inside Writer, Draw or Impress.
Opening the ODF zip archive and removing the PNG preview from the sample
document should convince one of that. 

Have attached a screen clip of the ODT open and magnified to 579 percent.
Export to PDF retains vector data, and full resolution.

Opening the document and selecting the graphic object--from the Object context
menu -> "Save Graphic" IS correctly applying anti-aliasing (PNG, JPEG, BMP)

However, I would agree that with Export to a raster format--default at 96
dpi--the PNG format (and JPEG) in 4.3.0beta1 does not have the same level, if
any, anti-aliasing as the 4.2 export provided.

But at higher resolution--300 dpi or 600 dpi--the Exported raster is
presentable.

Requesting developer input here - not sure if it's a bug or treating the
document correctly since MSO '10 and '13 see it the same way but '03 sees it
differently.

Also updating to 3.6 as we've confirmed it sees it the same way at least that

Changing this to 4.2.4.2 release as the problem was around at least that far
back - not 100% sure it is a problem but want to get it out of the 4.3 list as
it's not a regression.

Note: Our version field is oldest version that we can confirm the problem, not
the latest version (just use comments for that)

Office 2010 and 2013 shows it similar to LibreOffice, though LibreOffice has a
3 page count in the statusbar.

I tested the opening of the file in Linux Mint with the latest versions of 3.6
- 4.2 and 4.3 beta.

Here's a workaround.
unzip odb file and do this:
- mkdir ./forms/Obj11/Configurations2/accelerator
- touch ./forms/Obj11/Configurations2/accelerator/current.xml
- in META-INF/manifest.xml, add this line 

in Obj11 block

Rezip and rename in odb, it works.

Lionel: any idea how to solve this? (I attached a bt + gdb session)

In order to reproduce this issue you need to have more than 1 recent document
in the start center.

- Steps to reproduce:

1) Click the X button to remove the first recent document on the upper left
corner
2) Without moving the mouse pointer, click another time on the preview of the
next document preview (which now is in the same position of the other document
that was removed in step 1).

X button/area selection does not re-appear until the mouse is moved, but
clicking permits removing recent documents.

This is the same Python 3.3.3 related issue of language tools as with bug

New
Minor - can slow down professional quality work but not going to prevent it
(although a user has to figure out that right to left works fine which can be
tedious)
Medium - bumped from low because the workaround is kind of hidden and likely
not to be discovered.

I am closing this as NOTABUG - it's a bit confusing about what the actual bug
report but my notes are below:

1. Not using comments right - insert -> comment is the right way for normal
comments, for the edit -> changes -> Comments these are to add a comment to a 
change only so to use it properly you have to make a change of some kind, then
highlight that change, then do edit -> changes -> comment


Note that a new bug with regards to that method is reported at bug 79197

1. Open a blank document
2. Enable track changes with Edit > Changes > Record
3. Type 'What'
4. Select 'What' from left to right with your mouse or keyboard
5. Edit > Changes > Comment is disabled

Doing the selection from right to left will have the 'Comment' option enabled.
Tested on Linux Mint with the latest release of 3.6 to 4.2 and 4.3 beta. Also
test on 4.3 beta on Windows XP SP3.

Anyway, I finally found the problem was here:

The result of find isn't checked against end iterator.

4) other?

on pc Debian x86-64 with 4.2 sources updated some days ago, I changed B5 from
"5" to "-5" and it gives sum of 154 (which is correct), so I don't reproduce
this.
Do you have something else if you use this exact example?

It crashing after typing something is related to the auto spell check issue
mentioned in bug 77891.

i can confirm (Win XP SP3, LibO 4.3 beta1) it crashes after visiting language
settings -> languages in tools -> options.

I tried to understand why rValueType was equal to -1
so started here:
957 xDefaulter->createCustomShapeDefaults( OUString::number(
getShapeType() ) );

still in vmlshape.cxx
   146 sal_Int32 ShapeType::getShapeType() const

148 return maTypeModel.moShapeType.get( 0 );
149 }

A search in Opengrok seems to indicate moShapeType is initialized in
oox/source/vml/vmlshapecontext.cxx:
288 mrTypeModel.moShapeType = rAttribs.getInteger( O_TOKEN( spt ) );

The problem is there's no control of the spt value

I tried this:
- change type of moShapeType from OptValue< sal_Int32 > to OptValue< sal_uInt32
> (include/oox/vml/vmlshape.hxx)
- use this:
mrTypeModel.moShapeType = rAttribs.getUnsigned( O_TOKEN( spt ) );
instead of this:
mrTypeModel.moShapeType = rAttribs.getInteger( O_TOKEN( spt ) );

The file can be opened without crash but -1 is converted to 152

Any idea?

All these (no association with odf files, no open with for ms office documents,
and no document templates) confirmed on Windows XP SP3 - 4.3.0.0.beta1

When you run the installer in 'custom' mode, it asks if a user wishes to
associate ms office documents, but not in 'typical' mode.

Problem description: 
printing a document o spreadsheet generates a runtime error R6025 and crashes
the application. The printing goes out, but partially if there were more than
one page.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a document with some text
2. Select File Print or the printing button
3. Select the any printer installed
4. The error apears but the printing goes o

Current behavior:
Printing a document or spreadsheet crashes LO with runtime error R6025
Expected behavior:
Just print the document or spreadsheet.

Works fine in LibreOffice 4.2.4.2 release

NEW
Minor - not going to really affect ability to produce high quality work but
looks pretty awkward with it shifting every click
High - regression + makes LibreOffice look less professional

Interestingly the slowest conversion in our callgrind tests at:

http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/callgrind_report/

is 051_fdo#73300.odt-convert - whose profile shows a huge amount of time spend
loading, un-compressing and checksumming images - but virtually no time
converting/exporting them. Which is perhaps another interesting data point.
