https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87300 Bug ID: 87300 Summary: EDITING: Calc crashes after repeated cut-paste operation Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.3.4.1 release Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: soavemass...@tiscali.it repeated copy or cut / paste operation with keyboard crashes Calc: have to close it with windows task manager: Ctrl+c on one or more cell - move cursor to other cell - Ctrl+v Ctrl+c on one or more cell - move cursor to other cell - Ctrl+v Ctrl+c on one or more cell - move cursor to other cell - Ctrl+v CRASH sometimes just after the second operation - sometimes after the 3rdf or 4th. Onlòy way to prevent problem that i have found is to do only 1 copy/paste operation then hit ESC to release copied cell highlight, go to another cell, do some editing, and then do another copy/paste operation. Similar problem submitted some time ago: I was told to delete the libreoffice directory in /users//appdata/roaming/libreoffice. Then I closed the database and saw the designed form on the LO-desktop. It has been saved in the /tmp-folder. I opend this form and saw the data of my database. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84463] EDITING: Wish: make clear which objects are moved in alignment operations
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84463 --- Comment #3 from sergio.calleg...@gmail.com --- It is clear that the issue can be worked around. For instance, if you have some objects to align, you can 1) Select the one that should not move, lock the position; 2) Select all the objects, do the alignment; 3) Select the one that should not move, unlock the position (this is needed, otherwise you cannot move the objects as a group preserving the alignment) or (often more more easily) you can note down the positions of the objects and manually align them by writing down the position they should take. The point is that all this is rather impractical and having a command that decides in a totally unpredictable way what it will do is highly frustrating to new users. The show of a new user trying to align stuff on a presentation, ending up moving the wrong objects, retrying, getting again the same result, retrying, eventually ending up visually aligning things by hand is something not to lose. If you are curious about the impact of this issue, find odp presentations on the net and just look at the amount of slides where there are objects that look approximately aligned, but in fact are not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87070] 4.3 releases do not launch after install on Win 8.1 x64 - soffice.exe application error (0xc000007b)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87070 --- Comment #10 from V Stuart Foote vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- @Jan, OK, sorry this is a hassle for you. You're doing the correct steps to trouble shoot, including cleanups and attempting to run the /A administrative install in parallel. I run these myself on 8.1 so I know the TB and release builds do function on Windows 8.1--either fully installed or in parallel. Please check, for the failled runs, are there any additional details in the error messages, other than the (0xc07b)? Reviewed in the Event Viewer - Windows Logs, on either Application or System tab. Then next thing to check, simply activate the built-in Administrator account and login with it? Done easily from a cmd window run as administrator issue net user administrator /active:yes. To revert later, rerun with /active:no, but if you are going to leave it active set a password. Doing that, will the earlier /A administrative installs run with that privileged account? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 79249] #N/A value is shown as ={nan} in formular bar and Err:512 as cell value
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79249 --- Comment #5 from Markus Mohrhard markus.mohrh...@googlemail.com --- (In reply to Kevin Suo from comment #0) Created attachment 99844 [details] test xlsx file with #N/A value Problem description: The attached xlsx file has #N/A value in cell A1:A4. The file was created by MSO 2010. The N/A value was generated by VLOOKUP function and pasted special only values (thus there should be no formular in any of the cells) When open in Calc, it shows value Err:512 rather than N/A, while in the formular bar it shows ={nan}. Steps: 1. Just open the attached xlsx file in LibreOffice. Current Behaviour: It is showing Err:512 in A1:A4, and ={nan} in formular bar. Expected: It should show #N/A in A1:A4; there is no formular in the cells, so it should show #N/A in the formular bar. OS: reproducible in windows xp, ubuntu 13.04 lts, and Fedora 20. So: ALL. LibreOffice: 4.2.4.2. Still reproducible in 4.3 beta 1. That file contains error cells which are not available in calc therefore we translate them to formulas. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87070 --- Comment #13 from V Stuart Foote vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- @Jan, OK. So we know the issue is not permissions. This is a 64-bit Windows 8.1 install, with 1031 de-DE localization. Also, the NTDLL.DLL being called is the 64-bit one in C:\Windows\system32, rather than the 32-bit from C:\Windows\SysWOW64, that seems odd--but it could be normal for language support. Do you have a NLSPATH variable set? You would check from command window with set, or env commands. Also, the builds you show in the error for the NTDLL.DLL are more current than I have patched at the moment.
